There was a guilty verdict Thursday at the Casey Anthony murder trial -- but it was not for Anthony.

A spectator, 28-year-old Matthew Bartlett, was found to be in contempt of court and ordered to serve six days in jail for waving his middle finger at one of the prosecutors.

Bartlett, who works as a server from T.G.I.Fridays, was asked by Judge Belvin Perry why he made the gesture to attorney Jeff Ashton, but Bartlett said, “I’m not even sure why I did it."

I am not sure that either ICA or Bozo & Co had the collective knowledge of the intricacies of database storage and longevity of such records.  I am sure that Cindy was confident that after three years, all records of her existence at Gentiva would have been been as long gone as the smell of decomp in KC's pants.  Unfortunately, she had no way of going back and either checking or flushing those records, as someone apparently attempted to do with the internet search history.  I think she believed she could get by with this deceit as easily as she has been able to get away with other "mistruths."  Again, the apple didn't fall far from the family tree.

I think you are exactly right. I would be willing to bet bozo told her those records would be gone after this length of time.  What he did not take into consideration was these were MEDICAL records which in this state have to be kept for 10 years and archived even longer. Every email, every order, every phone call has to be documented and a record kept. I think he was too stupid to know that but she should have known being in the medical field.

Captain Bozo sealed his OWN fate this afternoon! When he was arguing the State should have KNOWN Cindy was going to lie  -- he was basically saying HE knew she was going to lie as well. That should get him sanctioned/disbarred as well.

I thought that myself..................I thought he KNEW it was a lie and he went along with the lie just from what he said.

I shared scaredmoneys .net .com and radio with the counselor. She is a tad younger than I, somewhere in her 60's I think. Anyway she was very interested and impressed with the way we collectively here have love, compassion, empathy and action for missing and explointed children and adults and ourselves.
Hope this comes out OK I have misplaced my glasses and most everything today  and yesterday.

No, court over for the day.  The Defense rested it's case, Casey did not testify on her behalf.  Some 28yr old guy in the courtroom flipped off Ashton and Judge Perry found him guilty and sentenced him to 6 days in jail.

Maybe he thought he could get away with it seeing as Bozo and ICA did the same thing during a hearing break and it was caught on camera. Anyone remember that little episode? Different now that the trial is underway and the jury was present. I think maybe if JP had reined the DT in during pre-trial hearings and motions, some of these nutjobs wouldn't be so bold....JMHO

Frank George said that the guy from Gentiva said that he can't get the records for the defense till next Thursday due to the 3 day weekend.  The judge said it is what it is and court is recessed until tomorrow morning.

Does this mean they will wait to give the case to the jury until these records can be retrieved?  I have run out of words for CA.

Quick question for any monkey that can answer please: If the defense is granted a surrebuttal can they then decide to call Casey? From my understanding anything in a surrebuttal could only cover content in the rebuttal so I think I just answered my own question, as there really wouldn't be any questions to ask her

Well..I think Simms and LKB would know those records would still be retreivable and that Gentiva would still have the hard evidence...I really think that Cindy talks to Baez and they decide this stuff between the two of them..and I think Baez knew Cindy would take the hit on this..he just didn't tell her that..and he's going to say he found this out after the fact...whicih is probably the truth..but he should have walked away when he knew darn well Cindy would perjure herself ..he's an azz..

And I do expect sanctions from JP at the end..and I do believe the State will go after Cindy for perjury later and lying and falsifing testimony and documents...that is if they can stomach looking at her anymore.

But I always thought from the start all of Cindy's lying scheming ways would eventually be what sealed the deal and put the needle in her daughter's arm.  And she has made the case for the State in many instances just by them having to make an issue of her mistruths.

And that leaves everyone to wonder..if your daughter is innocent..why would you need to lie about anything?

But Cindy thinks she knows better then anyone else about everything..just like her mini me Casey.  And from what I can tell this whole experience has not humbled either of them one bit.  Cindy still..after all this mayhem, the death of her Granddaughter, the attempted suicide of her husband, the estrangement of her son and other family members..she still just doesn't get it.
