Casey Anthony didn’t testify, her defense team talked about pet burials before resting, and TV analysts were appalled by the overall effect.

“Who would have known eight weeks ago that that opening statement would have been the beginning and end of this trial?” asked attorney Jeff Deen on WESH-Channel 2. “Jose’s opening statement put her with knowledge of the death, actually put her there when it happened. Made accusations they couldn’t back up. They ended the case with no evidence of anything that they promised, and it’s a big deal.”

Attorney Richard Hornsby, who also offers analysis for WESH, said the jury will wonder if Casey Anthony was involved in Casey’s death because Baez admitted it in his opening statement. “The biggest hole is Casey’s failure to testify,” Hornsby said.

I have been thinking about this... George sounded like the pet wrapping was a surprise, Cindy seemed to expect it.
Then they are out in the hall with Bobo... so does George get pretend angry at Bobo on the stand? WTF is wrong with these people?? If Bobo accused me of all this crap, and my wife wanted to pow wow in the hallway, I would be telling them to go f** themselves..

I also I wonder if casey put heart stickers on them, after she killed all of her pets

I don't know if klaas has post from almost 3 years ago.
That one friend told ppl where they would bury there pets.

 Casey Anthony’s closest childhood friend Kiomarie Torres Cruz says she was stunned when she learned that tiny Caylee had been buried with a heart-shaped sticker.

 “I immediately realized it meant that Casey had buried Caylee,” Kiomarie told The ENQUIRER in an exclusive interview. “My blood ran cold.”

 Casey’s burial was stunningly similar to those of pets she buried in the same spot when she was a child, said Kiomarie.

 Kiomarie says she, Casey and their friend Jessica held a funeral for Jessica’s hamster, Sage, when the girls were 13.

 “I never wanted to believe Casey could have killed Caylee, but it’s just too much coincidence. The place, the hearts, the bags, the blanket – it all adds up,” says Kiomarie.

Add Leo Padilla to the dolt pile as he says Casey Anthony should have testified. Did JVM and LP not see what Jeff Ashton has dome to witness after witness? He would have carved her up like an Easter ham.

I guess they both missed what Ashton did today to the defense and Baez with this ridiculous "Pet cemetery" questioning. Baez went on and on and on and on.

Ashton asked one question ... "Every thrown a dead dog in a swamp"?

Baez is asking the judge if he can serve a subpoena to the Gentiva guy that is going to testify for the state. The judge says they can. Frank George said that the guy from Gentiva said that he can't get the records for the defense till next Thursday due to the 3 day weekend.  The judge said it is what it is and court is recessed until tomorrow morning.

Does this mean they will wait to give the case to the jury until these records can be retrieved?  I have run out of words for CA.

NO, the judge said at the close today for the jury to expect to start deliberations on Sunday. 

The DT just wanted a long weekend. They don't like to work and I bet they thought they could stall the trial. Not only did they know Cindy would lie on the stand about the computer searches, I think they instructed her to do so....MOO

I'm sure they said something along the lines of we need get the DP off the table by saying someone else besides Casey was searching chloroform on that computer. JMO

No matter what happens, Baez will use Cindy's lies to Casey's advantage.  If she's not impeached she has taken away premeditation.  If she is impeached Baez uses the lies on the stand from Cindy in his closing to say...look at these people...I told you so.

I had hoped she testified as well. I think it would have been used in psych and legal classes for years to come. Forget the State who would have ripped her apart. I think Baez could have had an impossible time controlling her n direct.

George can't deny the security gate records and text messages. I have known people who have gotten divorced over a lot less.

He should have been looking for Caylee.... not buying guns to threaten people and hanging out with Krystal-Slash from Guns 'N Roses.

I also don't like him because he spells crazy with a K. (see suicide note)

George is a toad.

I agree carpe...and I know I am in the minority....but I believe MOST of what River said....I believe they had a sexual involvement, I believe she gave him money and he took it, the LE  tracked her down...she did not go to them....her sister is the one that contacted NE.....I could go on but most have already tarred and feathered her....I will say this I talked to her several times and her story had never changed.
