Pundits on JVM speculate that KC will get - 2nd degree murder (22 to life) and the other says aggravated assult (15) and JVM says remember: if KC doesn't get the death penalty, it's considered a win for the defense.

she is right...they will claim a win....however I don't think KC will agree with them......

I think that death and life in prison would really be considered the same ... a loss for the defense.

Had Baez not put forth the ridiculous nothing of an accident, molestation, George, Kronk, etc ... they could have claimed victory for life in prison.  Not now. The jury will think that why would an atty allow his client to sit in prison for 3 years if it were a simple accidental drowning.

Just curious but does anyone know if the smell of human decomposition is similar to animal decomposition?

Unfortunately it's not uncommon for rodents to be hit and killed on some of the road routes we run and I know that stink is distinctly recognizable...... just thinking it's likely most of the jurors have at least smelled a dead animal and if so they won't buy the rotting trash theory anyway.

Well, all I can say is "What a salacious, vile" spectacle this all thing has been.  Poor Caylee was lost in all this.  And that is what KC and the DT intended to do.  I find the entire Anthony family despicable.  Sorry, I reserve my judgement on George until much later on.  It's not over with yet.  I almost (note I say almost) feel bad saying this but I still, even after seeing Cindy and George break down on the stand, believe they worked with scum Bozo and company to try to save this useless, useless lower form of humanity known as KC.  The whole family and DT is the lowest of the lowest.  NONE of them deserved Caylee.  That child was a precious gift given to them and look what they did with that gift.  Disgusting vile people.  I hate them all.  I have never seen such a sick sick sick family.  This is one for the books.  And Sindy, I would NEVER pay my hard earned money to buy a book that you are writing nor would I EVER sit in my home and subject myself to a movie sanctioned by you or your family.  For everyone who has made money off this Angel, may you rot in Hell.

Thanks for all of your great posts.  This may have been discussed, but I have to say, my jaw dropped as they listed off the number of dogs that the Anthonys had.  It seemed like there were way too many....seems like she may have started her evil activities at a much younger age.

I had thought the same thing. I have had pets all my life and only 3 have passed. Maybe Dr. Baden and Spitz can make themselves useful and exhume the dogs in the back yard and see if Casey didn't murder them to.

I grew up in a big family I mean I have 3 brothers and 4 sisters, so we always had pets I know I had a cat for 14 yrs but also had a lot of dogs who died either naturally or got hit by a car following us kids out playing in the neighborhood. At times it seemed like we had just as many pets as we did siblings, My oldest sister would drag in every stray she found my dad swore his first 2 checks each month went to the vet. So to me it doesn't sound like to many animals

Did anyone catch what Lippman just said on NG?  I heard him say that they have found banking records of Cindy's for March 17th that proves she was at Bank of America the day she was doing Chlorophyll...urm chloroform...erm Actaeon...erm had a neck breaking pop up and that the said bank records were given to the Dufense?  did he say Dufense?  How does he know it was Cindy?  Casey was using the charge cards at that time and had no qualms writing bad cheques of Amy's and writing cheques from grandma Plesea.  What are they cooking up?

There is also online banking, like transfers from savings to checking or vice versa, bill paying, etc. Or, it could have been George at the bank. I hope the State is prepared for this new tidbit from Lippman. I agree, a video would be nice.

ITA I thought you could no longer make money off a murder victim am I wrong...I personally feel if they make a movie the money should go to finding children or a child foundation but should not go to family or lawyers

i'm am sick of nancy grace acting like cindy lying on the stand for casey is acceptable in any way shape or form.  it digusts me.  Every criminal has a mother, if it is okay for moms to just start lying for their children in court then why bother.

I was thinking when I was in the shower. THINK about this........what if you had never head anything much about this as most of the jurors claimed?  Just think what they have to be thinking about this family and all the people who have testified in this case.

We have a defendant who admits she told no one her baby was missing for 31 days and she told no one but partied until she puked. She lied for months about her baby being kidnapped and had LE chasing all over this country looking for this baby. She continued her lie while TES, LE and everyone else stomped in gator infested swamps to find a baby she had already killed.

We have a lawyer who claims the defendant was sexually molested from age 8 with NOTHING to back it up. We have an attorney who claimed that George Anthony found Caylee drown then covered it up and somehow gave the body to Roy Kronk to hide to get a reward which didn't exist for a dead Caylee. Then comes Cindy to testify lies after lies, Lee crying about not being included in this family, then we have a PI who was on Cindy's direction looking for a dead body almost exactly where it was found. etc. etc. etc.  Can you even begin to imagine what any normal person would think? Not saying all the jury members came from normal families, but I doubt many of them came from anything like this.

I was thinking unless that juror #4 who was a dumb as a box of rocks didn't understand any of this there will be a guilty verdict within hours. I pray this is almost a prophecy.

Kiomarie Torres Cruz in a National Enquirer article.

Nothing was said regarding pet burial in her August, 2008 interview with investigators ... an interview which took place prior to the discovery of Caylee's remains.

Considering Kiomarie was not called as a State's witness ... maybe investigators deemed her story in the National Enquirer as not credible.

I say no.  Human has an effect on my gut - animal just on my nose...if that makes sense.   And that is without seeing/knowing what it is - animal vs human.
