I wish someone would straighten them out and tell them that even after 2 years is up the Slooter can still be arrested.  Driving me nuts hearing them say there's a 2 yr statute.

Yes and didn't the Dutch just announce a few days ago that in this case it isn't two years for Joran! They have indications to hold him in suspect status beyond the two years. We saw that News article.

My understanding is that if they don't go to trial before 2 yrs is up he is released as a suspect (on paper), however, if new evidence comes up they can still prosecute the SOB

Tacky is on.  he's saying that if evidence isn't found in two years they need to take Joran off the suspect list.  He's spinning again.  Kimberley is asking him if there might be a new tip, that they are looking for a body, using equipment, digging up around pool.  Joes says that's all speculation.  Right, Tacky!  Those people carrying out containers is all speculation.  jackhammering and digging based on no information?  Joe is saying they are trying to put Joran off the suspect list.  This is either an informatnt or new information leading this activity.  Joe, you don't go doing this without a reason!!  Tacky says you do!  Now after two years and everything they've done, poor Joran was set up.  Boo hoo, Tacky.  You are an idiot.

I make of it we are approaching the two year point.  Short of any new evidence they have to take him off the suspect list.

He just admitted about the search that the scope was limited.

There have been rumors one of which included that Natalee was buried under the pool.  He assures us they are going to come up with nothing.
