IBE, I am so sorry it has taken me so long to get online to pass on my thoughts and prayers to you and condolences for your loss. We have two "babies" both rescues from no kill shelters and they are our babies ..... My heart goes out to you as I know one day before long, I will be in your shoes. Our oldest is going blind and has health issues but as long as he is happy and not in pain we will do whatever we can to keep him happy and comfortable. I have enclosed a poem for you that soothes my heart whenever I think of the inevitable:
