I missed ALL of todays testimony and am not watching the vid's on WFTV, and wondered is it just me or did Bozo impeach his own witness (per his standards anyway) when they were arguing about Michael Warrend rebutting Spitz testimony about the cranil wash etc.....he stated that Dr. Warren can't identify what was in the skull (organic nor inorganic) just by looking at it.......isn't that EXACTLY what Spitz testified to when he talked about it being brain dust, yet never tested it?

He made his own witness out a liar because Dr. Warren had already washed the skull with saline as did Dr. G. which tells there was never any brain dust to begin with in the skull.

I remember that testimony too.....but even if there had been Spitz (according to Baez) wouldn't be able to identify it as such since he flat out stated nobody could do that by just looking at it. Again, what a great prosecutor

Unfortunately for the jury, right after the verdict -- the penalty phase starts. I am pretty sure the jury is still sequestered (I hope I'm wrong)

BBM I was wondering that too..maybe one of our legal Monkeys can answer that ?

Missed all of today's proceedings due to working. Did Ashton kick butt as usual? Was cindy or anyone impeached?

Danny Devito to play bozo or some unknown actor since the unknown nor bozo would know what they are doing.

Sean Connery to play Ashton. Gotta love those distinctive gentlemen.

The other pro guy needs to be the guy from Flashpoint? with the bald head. (2 of them are bald I think)

Still thinking of the rest.

Heck no one would want to play casey or cindy

Did anyone hear, it sounded like Baez, "travesty of justice"?  Am I hearing voices again?

I heard that as well but couldn't decide who said it.  Judge Perry referenced some famous case with the murder of another jodge where apparently there was no body and no known cause of death.

Loved it!

Just because there was no known cause of death, there must still have been a conviction.

Maybe Baez is of the No Body No Case Paulus vd Sloot Law School.

Imagine if all someone had to do was make remains disappear or there be no proof of cause of death on them!

There was a case about 20 yrs ago in FL that the wife was missing. I can't remember everything about it but there was no body because he killed her and fed her body parts to the sharks. His buddy told on him I believe and of course he was charged and convicted of murder.

I was wondering about that. Do they get to go home and come back or do they hear everything right then? Sentencing is usually weeks or months after a verdict isn't it?

Bozo is forgetting there is an IT guy on the jury. ROTFL

and I'm always amazed at how many people don't understand that the delete button is for kids...the info is never gone and can be retrieved with the right programs...

Hi there sea searcher - how you been?  I am amazed bozo is trying to misconstrue such basic computer info.
I smashed my last hard drive with a hammer until it was little pieces
Lol--- and bury each little piece all over the state!

For a case that had "LWOP" wrritten all over it at worse case scenario, Cindy AND the DT put the death penalty right back into play. Totally hurt casy more than helped her. They probably COULD have gotten a 30 year sentence if they would have plead out.

I am sitting here thinking about that very thing---DP vs LWOP.

You may be right.  In the beginning I thought no way is this a DP case as those usually have to involve multiple victims killed or lots of prior crimes and aggrevating circumstances.  Also sosmeone told me that it is worse if the victim is stranger or at least not immediate family (not sure I believe that but anyway).  Also horrible henious circumstances, etc.

Now after listening to all the evidence, lots provided by Baez, we know as early as March chloroform was being searched, 3pieces of tape, party party party, baby in bed with mom and boyfriend and on and on and on.

I'm beginning to think this is in fact a DP case!!!

In a criminal case, the deliberations must result in a jury's finding by a unanimous vote that the defendant
is guilty or not guilty. If a jury reaches a guilty verdict in a criminal case, the judge will determine the
punishment or sentence in accordance with the law. Unlike criminal cases, in civil trials a verdict does not
have to be unanimous; agreement by either five or six jurors is sufficient. In addition to deciding upon a
verdict, a civil trial jury may also be asked to determine whether there should be an award of damages for
certain parties, and if so, how much money should be awarded.
In a criminal trial, sentencing normally takes place several weeks after the verdict is rendered. Jurors are
not required to return to the court for sentencing proceedings.

Thank You!  Yes, I think Baez thinks there can't be a conviction without things like cause of death known for a fact.
Would be far too easy to get away with it if that were true.

BBM Interesting...I wonder then, why the jurors were asked if they could vote for DP ..during the selection process ?

Magic Eyes

You have magic brain and hands. Thank you for the updates.

IMO I think Casey will scream and try to faint.

I would really enjoy Casey pulling some theatrics at verdict and at sentencing. Really do not think that will happen.
Not with her.  We will see her just as we always see her. Void of feeling. She is tired of acting.  IMO
