There was talk about that relationship not all that long after the impending divorce was announced.  I can see how two people that have been under so much media scrutiny could be drawn together.

2. Joran often went to swim on the beach but always came back without his shoes/flip flops and then his mom had to go back to the beach to try and find them. He once forget a pair of really expensive sandals and his mom vowed only to buy him cheap shoes/flip flops

GOOD MORNING ALL!

I've added Ramm's ongoing translation of Joran's book in the Important Case Document thread.  Ramm has completed through chapter 3:

Which numbering EASY?  You mean the 1,2,3 in chapter 1?  I think it's just the order of the bullet points is all.

Edited to add:  Looks like Ramm dropped the numbering in the next chapters.

Have we heard any news here about Beth and a significant new man in her life?

Coffee for everybody!

Yep, old news.  Nothing to discuss, IMO.  I will admit to wondering if they would do speaking engagements together on dangers, etc.

But what I really want to know today is exactly what the Dutch are doing on the island.  Where they are and to whom they are talking,

Surely they will not leave without re-questioning certain parties whose statements open more questions than they answer, ones never followed up on like how Deepak knew the minute he got home from C&C that there was going to be an investigation, things like that.

Dayhiker- I do believe you are correct.. the KLPD would not be doing what the are if they did not have serious intentions.

They have had the case for 8-10 months roughly, and unless they just recently spotted something that made this all happen, I'm skeptical because of the length of time it took to get them to Aruba.

If we know what we know.. they must know a ton more that would make it almost impossible to have waited this long.

I'm hopeful that something will happen, but I won't be surprised if nothing does.

So it seems.  I'm trying to add HannieC translations and others as well.  They are in another thread.

Translating an entire book word for word would be quite a job.  Not sure I even want to know what it says that badly.  The summary is quite enough!  I would like to know how Joran phrases certain things once in a while.

Mostly its just an ego trip for him.  He certainly has a problem in that area.

It's very true robots but I don't think he could have ever raised his son properly because the son learned from the father.  The lying, drugging, kidnapping, rape, murder were all taught by Paulus and his friends/relatives (The Elders).
