Does someone know at what time the press picked up and reported the "something bad happened" AND did the news reports indicate when the Aruban authority made the statement ie what time of day on June 10, 2005?

Yes, that is a great evaluation by Ado.  We always knew the bag was significant, as the sporter was afraid it was going to get away from him and it was sooo spoken of, you knew something was up with it.  He had to have something in it that was significant, otherwise, it would not have been mentioned so many times.  Oh, what a tangled web they have woven.  Thank you, Ado, for figuring that one out.  I think you are RIGHT ON.

There are a lot of astute observations being made in the forum
and on the front page.

I think it would be a good idea to make a list and point out things to Jossy. (or Dutch team itself? Possible?) At least, Jossy could write about it in Diario.

Just a few examples:

1) Joran's new statement (book) about three hours on "beach"--  conflicts with his timeline

2) Paulus's lack of an established timeline

3) Deepak admitting, in the e-mails to Croes, that he had sexual contact with Natalee and referencing an investigation (How did Deepak know?)

4) Ten minutes after Joran's first statement, Beth and Dave are asked for DNA samples. Reason?

Spock, I am not sure if that was Jossy who said that or Anita.  I know that was the rationale behind retracting the statement, that it had gone past normal hours of interrogation; therefore, it was not allowed.

I guess they killed Natalee during daylight hours since killing her in the middle of the night might have been illegal.  WTF?  The whole lot of the ALE and the Sloot enablers are lying liars.

Lala's, let's go to the "lion becomes a goat."  Was this the point at which Joran had taken Natalee to Paulus and Paulus decided to do away with Natalee and Joran who did not know what to do about her, Paulus decided to take charge and destroyed what was left of her life, lest he take her to the hospital and they find all that "shit..." which was probably among other things DNA from Paulus & Joran.  "Unbelievable, your own father?"  "If they find the girl, they will find all that shit..."

Joran:  "If they find the girl, I will laugh..."  He knows Paulus has done an adequate job of destroying her remains.

I saw you post that yesterday...it made me think you could be right.  Truly, after Paulus took over things changed dramatically.  Do you remember the night Geraldo told Bill O'Reilly the story about the friend of Paulus saying something to the effect of "How can I do this to the son of my dear friend?"  I knew then the cover up was in force.  

Going out on a limb here and say that even though I think van der Straaten looked the other way, whether he was forced to or not, he not only knew what happened to Natalee...I think he knows each place she was moved to.  Just because you have the info doesn't mean you can get anyone to act on it.  He might have been in charge of ALE but he wasn't in charge of the island and the person who was held all the power.

However ... the Justice Minister, Rudy Croes, stated that the confession never happened ... the report of a confession was a lie.  What is so ironic ... the original release to the media regarding the confession came from a Spokesperson from Rudy Croes' office.

What the "powers that be" in Aruba have put Natalee's family through can only be considered as dispicable.

I am sitting on edge waiting for the KLPD to hold a press conference to inform everyone any new news. Or at least one of the Ministry. This waiting is making me so antsy, as I am sure it is all. I do know it takes time to sift through dirt, roots, paint, wood ect but it's been 2 yrs.

That again is one of the strangest things I have ever heard.  I understand the parents just wanted to get their child and go where she might be but why on earth didn't Paulus just tell the Sporter to get his butt HOME!

Yes, the wild goose chase of all those adults in pursuit of a couple of kids is just hard to believe.

But I have never heard an account from either Beth or Jug that anybody was left behind for any reason.

The June 10, 2005 declaration of Joran which was obtained at 14:30 is one of the revealed suspect statements.  There is no indication of a confession within that declaration.

That is exactly what I recall, Lalas, although I no longer have any documentation, but I thought the revealed confession came from Rudy Croes office and was retracted by himself, Dirty Hand, a/k/a Rudy Croes.  His Lordship RC.
