Oh, yeah, they had a body.  They just had to figure out what to do with it while someone was collecting DNA samples.  I hate 'em all.

Big time.

The June 10, 2005 declaration of Joran which was obtained at 14:30 is one of the revealed suspect statements.  There is no indication of a confession within that declaration.

You are right.  The statement that contained a confession was thrown out.  It happened later that day and was disregarded as legit by the Aruban authorities because of some kind of time limit on interrogations.

4:30 am -  "Before sunrise Saturday, Justice Minister Rudy Croes told Fox News that the report that one of the men had confessed was a "lie" and emphatically denied that anyone had confessed in the case."  Apparent sunrise for the time zone would be about 4:30, perhaps a bit later.

Yes, that is a great evaluation by Ado.  We always knew the bag was significant, as the sporter was afraid it was going to get away from him and it was sooo spoken of, you knew something was up with it.  He had to have something in it that was significant, otherwise, it would not have been mentioned so many times.  Oh, what a tangled web they have woven.  Thank you, Ado, for figuring that one out.  I think you are RIGHT ON.

I can't respond to often today. Working.
Anyway, on the shoe theory, it's only my theory and maybe more information will come out during the KLPD investigation that blows it out of the water. As I said a few weeks ago, I'm just throwing away the pieces of the puzzle that don't seem to fit and keeping the ones that seem to fit.
I don't always log on but do try to keep up to date on all the posts. And there are a lot of post that cause me to sit back and go Hmmmm.

Question to anyone.........Is the entire video of the early interview of paulus/anita by Greta and Beth posted somewhere? I want to see if there is a particular question or fact mentioned that seems to take him by surprise or causes his sweating to commence/increase. I suspect that something came out that he had lied to anita about.

adoronron, i hope that klaas or someone else can provide that...I seem to remember he just sweated through the whole thing.  I wonder if the fact that Anita kept referring to him as a judge was one of the things that started the sweats and it just continued after that, for fear some other lie might be revealed.  I think his sweating was precipitated by the digging he had been doing in that "garden".  Was this a garden of lovely lost women?  It certainly was not a garden of beautiful vegetation.  

I appreciate your input.  You are really thinking that through.  I always knew the bag was going to be important, and I think you have put your finger on it.

Perhaps the shoes he was wearing that night are buried at the quarry, for I hear there was blood on the real shoes.

Since I haven't read all the 171.doc I am thinking that there are statements from the casino people in there somewhere.  I have often thought this Simian passage meant that their statements were taken by ALE.  Maybe someone else will happen upon them and prove me right or wrong, whichever the case may be.

Team of Investigators Did Not Find Any Human Remains At Paul van der Sloot's House

Oranjestad - As it is known, last Friday a batallion of people went to the house of Paul van der Sloot where under the supervision of the Judge of Instructions of Curaçao and the Prosecutor of Aruba, a rigorous investigation was done.
The investigation wasbased on the evaluations that the team of Dutch experts that came to Aruba. they used special dogs, special machinery and also experts to investigate both the inside and outisde of Mr. Paul van der Sloot's home.

That morning a squad car went to the Court building to find Mr. van der Sloot who was at that moment defending a client. After the case, a Dutch agent went to speak with Mr. van der Sloot, who absolutely refused to speak. The agent's behaviour is very questionable since he was doing as if Mr. van der Sloot was a suspect, while there is a Court decision that clearly shows that Mr. van der Sloot is not a suspect anymore. Besides, the agent could have attended to Mr. van der Sloot is a more professional way.

The investigations at the house of Mr. van der Sloot lasted the entire Friday and Saturday.

Investigations done by Bon Dia Aruba showed that Saturday the investigations were concluded and in any case there were no hurman remains found at the house of Mr. Paul van der Sloot.

In a conversation with the spokeswoman of the Department of Justice, mrs Vivian van der Biezen let it be known that she can not divulge more of the results of the investigations done at the house of Mr. Pual van der Sloot. She let it be known that the team is continuing with the investigation but also does not want to divulge if there is going to anymore house searching. Could very well be that the team will investigate the places wthere there are indications that Holloway was there. Possibly the team will want to speak once more with the Kalpoe brothers. Time will tell if this is the case or not. The fact is that there is a complete team from the Netherlands in Aruba, who came to do investigations related to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

I think the confession was told by Dompig to the media.  When Croes heard about it or maybe got a frantic call from someone he knew that Paulus would spill the beans if he did not stop it.

BETH stated that at about 6:00 PM on June 10, 2005 the FBI told her that, “There is a strong possibility that Natalee may not be alive. We just don’t know in what shape they left her when they were finished.”

prosecutors refused to comment on the statement by Deputy Police Commissioner Gerold Dompig (search), who told The Associated Press that the man who made that admission was leading police to the scene. He refused to identify which of the three young men who took Holloway to a northern beach the night she went missing made the statement.

I don't have this at work, but Dompig's "something bad happened" statement was to Associated Press, which of course put it everywhere. And it was late Friday night.

I have it on home computer, probably with the time.
