Everything Baez did was to distract the focus away from the facts.

He made an intense opening statement and failed to deliver. 

I can't see the jury buying into anything he said.  The prosecutions case was all laid out, their witnesses had their info together and they were credible.

Baez's witnesses were too old, too young, too drunk- they just weren't convincing.

the fact is now that they proved Cindy WAS NOT home that day, only Casey could have been doing those searches premedidated searches, cloroform was found in the care and Caylee is dead. i think they will see thru that they said last night even 2nd degree murder is life i am hoping without parole

I think I read Judge Perry has sent 8 people to death row.

I don't believe he will change his stance on the dp this late in his career- unless the law dictates it is unconstitutional and a ban is imposed on executions in the state.

This is one judges ruling on one particular case.

goodmorning everyone! i have a feeling i'm going to be doing a lot of crying today as the prosecution gives their closing arguments, and a lot of restraining myself from throwing things at the tv when the defense is up.  I cannot believe we are finally here, closing arguments.  Thank you judge perry for keeping this trial on track as much as humanly possible.

Personally, I'd like to see them go after Cindy as well.

I cannot fathom the position she is in and I saw a broken woman when she was on the stand for the prosecution.

However, she is just as big a friggan liar as her daughter!

She would have been better off pleading for her daughter than lying, insulting everyone's intelligence and looking like a fool.

I guess you can't fix stupid.
