I Atticus, I love them all, but Scout brought it all home for me.   Walking hand and hand with Mr. Radley.  Tearing up here.   It takes a lot of hutzpah to compare oneself to prototypes.  I would have immediately discounted anything Mason said.

One of our local attorneys mailed us a motion, and there was Gregory Peck, as Atticus! I cut it out and put in on my "wall". The next day, there was a whole sheet of them on my chair, signed "santa". I think maybe it was the speech I gave about how we, the prosecution team, can't let our prejudices and world views affect how we treat people. (our county has more than its fair share of Boo Radleys, only most of them really ARE the monster the kids think they are)

Anyway, I think I'm gonna frame the sheet and hang it on my bulletin board.

Casey is smirking now, she sure got over her crying jag.  If and when any juror watches the tapes of this trial.  They will be amazed at how her behavior changed for their presence.

Casey is EVIL TO THE BONE.

You too Tevye?   My "baby" brother is severly MR/DD and looks , walks, etc, as the stereotypes.   While that book speaks to so many areas of life, Boo stands out for me

So much hate by monkeys scares me too. Once the trial is over and Casey is wisked away, there won't be anyone for them to hate. It is an emotional roller coaster and I see it after every trial. This is  particularly true a death sentence or LWP because they will hear nothing about Caylee once this is over. It is like a faucet. It is on in high pressure, then turned off...not a drop.

If Casey Anthony gets less than LWOP I can guarantee there will be many, many objections when her paroleboard meets. Much the same as in the Charlie Manson case.
