Still on the shoe thing, I think Joran is just dumb enough to think that if the shoes left at the beach are the same make and style as his, no one would notice they were not his size.

That should be high on the short list.  I did the same thing when I could, buy the same items so there would be no moaning and screaming and gnashing of teeth that A got better than C or B got better than A.

Exactly.  And, Joran is young and stupid enough that he would think the important thing to identify the shoes left at the beach as his would be the style, brand and color of the shoes.  He would not think size would matter much if he could locate the same style, brand and color to substitute for his own shoes.  Thus, grab his brother's shoes, just like his, and tell Dad to bring them to him and he would leave them at the beach just to back up his lost shoe story.

Then, that "shoe alibi" failed miserably when the difference between 10 1/2 and 14's was noticed.

But, were a pair of shoes just like Joran's found at the beach?  I don't recall that they were.  So, perhaps this alibi failed in another manner.  Joran might have left Val's perfectly good shoes at the beach and someone who saw them and needed shoes picked them up.  Poor Joran.  His best-laid alibis don't seem to be working!

I do think Ado's shoe theory should be sent to the proper folks.  Do you think it has been?

It is unique and does just so explain that shoe size mystery.  He just found a pair of 14's and left them to be found.  Smart enough to try them on to get his DNA on them, too.

But not as smart as he thinks he is!

I like Ado's theory. There is absolutely no reason for him to lie about the size of his shoes unless there was something of evidentiary value connected. Planted to bait the Kalpoes. He and papa had the frame-up working early on.

NBC 13 is a Birmingham station. It was linked earlier and included a video.

In the video, the anchor stated that at 5:00, Jossy Mansur would tell what he thinks
happened to Natalee.

That's all I know. Don't flame me if it doesn't happen. LOL

If Jossy's not on the show, we could just ask him. I would be interested in his theory.

I e-mailed Jossy and told him about all the astute observations being made on this site by comparing statements, etc.

He sounds open to having important points sent to him. Here is Jossy's reply:
