Big Bertha is why I want LWOP in general population and not DP. DP is too good for her.

I think she will be convicted of 1st degree felony murder and will get LWOP.  I really don't think she'll get the dp.  I'm not sure I could vote for the dp in this case even though I'm a dp proponent.

My reason for not voting for the DP would be ONLY because it takes so long with all the appeals and I really want her to spend her entire life in jail. I also want her in the general population where she will be a nothing.

is there a certain amount of time the jury has to deliberate? What if they go back there for 30 minutes and come back with a verdict can the say no deliberate more? Can they throw out the verdict because the jury did not take a lot of time? I am just wondering if it is short will Bozo the jury was tainted and did not look at the evidence long enough

No, there have been some very fast verdicts in the past, but in this case they will have to elect a foreman and once that is done the verdict can be taken for vote. I would love it if it were today.

Nope, but I presume it will take some time to just elect the foreperson.  Then hopefully, they will take a first vote, and see where they are.

The jury does not have to be unanimous as to how they get to 1st degree, it can be either premeditated or felony murder (or both)

Then the judge can give death right? Even if they all have different verdicts.

She goes to DP phase on 1st degree conviction (felony or premeditated/combination), in that phase the jury does not have to be unanimous but the majority.  Although while true the judge can set aside the recommendation, I doubt he will upgrade if they say LWOP but it is my belief that if they come back with a recommendation of death that CJBP will honor their majority decision.

I wonder if JP can take into account that he has seen KC change her demeanor as the jury goes in and out? I am sure he's noticed.
