Sorry Caylee, the jury took your day away.

Something to think about.  I think too much.

if some jurors are wearing suits and dressed up, does that mean they are coming back with a less than murder 1, cause if they were to pick murder 1, they would not be on camera today.
Do they know that if murder 1 is the verdict that they won't be allowed to go on camera until after the sentencing phase?  I keep wondering about the juror who is supposed to be going on a cruise tomorrow or the next day. Has CJBP talked to him about that? Offered to reimburse him if he stays? Will he be let go and an alternate take his place?  CJBP should never have promised him he would be finished in time to make his trip, imo.

Who knows but I would be pissed and I prob woudl blame her for it.  I am not sure I would give her the benefit of the doubt, but that is knowing what I know.  She is guilty beyond any reasonable doubt for me.

Well monkeys if they dont come in today with Murder one---forget about it---lets face how long would we take to reach a verdict

Nope: Charles Manson - 9 days.   an angelic monkey

Agree!  The taking of a human life is serious matter and some people want to take their time.  Unlike Casey, they are very somber about it.  Some people, myself included, always like to sleep on something to see if I still feel the same the next day.

In this case i would still feel the same the next day.

Well, some days I want the DP and nothing less will do.  Other days I want LWOPP.  Some days I am OK with something like a 30 year sentence knowing Casey will come out an old and broken person.

But whatever happens, it will be OK because even is she was found not guilty by some fluke, the majority of people think she is guilty and she would live in a very hostile world.

Where is that chart that tells us what she can possibly get when convicted, it was red and white and black?
http://www.wdbo.com/caseyanthonychart/  click on image to zoom in   an angelic monkey

Thanks!!!!

Though the chart is much easier to read and understand...here is another chart (in excel) of the different charges but more descriptive in words (or so it seems from a quick glance).  Looks like it comes from the same place.

Years ago I was on a civil trial that lasted 7 almost 8 weeks.  It was a frustrating trial and involved to very large and well known local companies.  It was all about contracts and leases which you can imagine was extremely boring.

We were an ALL WOMAN jury.  All walks of life.  At the time the company I worked for paid UNLIMITED regular pay for jury duty.

After closing statements, we went into the deliberation room which was within the courthouse.  They selected ME to be the foreman probably because I knew more than the rest about leases and contracts.  ANYWAY, long story short.  I was appalled by how the majority of the jurors made their decision on guilt.  It was based upon which attorneys they liked better and what clothes they were wearing.  Who's smile they liked the best.

In a civil case it is 9 or 12 jurors must have the same verdict.  Well the vote went what I felt was the wrong way 10-2 (Me and the wife of an attorney voted against the rest).  I was able to keep monetary penalties down but that was all I could do.  At the end, the JUDGE called me into his chambers and asked what happened.  I explained my frustration and how the jurors made their decision.  IT ENDED UP IN A MISTRIAL.  7-8 WEEKS OF MY LIFE BASICALLY WASTED.

That said, if any of THESE jurors make their decision based upon the looks or actions of the attorneys Casey will get the death penalty.

Wow Klaas. That's crazy how those jurors decided guilty/innocent. I'd have been sooo mad.

I really think it's clear Casey is guilty. What bothers me is I've followed this since the beginning. I was immediately touched by the way Natalee's familybecame involved in her disappearance, & I followed it online like I did Jonbenet's case, but Caylee's disappearance is what prompted me to actually post on a missing person's forum. There's something about this case that just resonates with everyone. I feel as though Cindy talked Casey out of adoption but was afraid she'd still give Caylee up after birth, so that's why Cindy kept it from everyone bc she was putting on "airs". She was embarassed. Then Casey agreed to keep Caylee so her mother went gung ho with help. Casey didn't wanna give Caylee to her mother bc then she'd see her everyday & be reminded that she wasn't ready to be a parent. If only Casey would have given Caylee up for adoption. She'd still be alive today. No doubt.

I have a question...

If an American can't join any branch of the military without a HS Diploma or GED, then how can they be a juror to decide life or death of a person on trial? If those tweets about #5 hold any basis, and if this chick hangs up the jury, I'm gonna be po'd! Hype, right?

Jury of your peers means a cross section representing their area. I'm sure any area in this country has a percentage of people that didn't graduate HS.

Here it is taken from the registered voters list.  Not sure about other states.  I am in Alabama.

If could be that the judge has something special planned for them for lunch today.

I guess it could be that, but now, I am going to worry about that.

what are you going to worry about and lose sleep over when the case is finished....????

I was watching a show on that pervert who should be shot that took Ben Ownby and Sean Hornbeck got like 3000 years in prison.  Granted, his crimes are disgusting and he deserves it, but his victims did not die, and he is spending 3000 years in prison.  Yes, he has many more charges and 2 victims, but IN MY MIND, if he can get 3000 years in prison, so can she.

The world we live in sucks.  Our justice system sucks and I am seriously having a very hard time with this.

Hubby came home this morning and I looked at him and started crying.  He goes what's the matter.  I just cannot take this.  Told him waiting for jury to come in and reading all the crap online about which jurors look like they are going with the defense, which charges she might be found guilty of, if she may walk, I seriously need this to end.

Why are victims allowed to be treated this way?  I doubt she will walk, but if a hung jury, will the state want to spend the money to try her all over again?  Will bozo be her lawyer?  I could not stand another 3 years, especially if she gets bond while they retry her.
Zoo please trust in God and the juror no one not even media knows what is going on in each of these jurors heads , Just hang in there we will see Justice done for Caylee.

It is so difficult to listen to what the various media reports are...I agee though that none of them really know and have faith in our justice system.  It is obvious that she is guilty of something (of course we do see murder) so she will not just walk.  I get so angry about it all, afraid that justice for Caylee will not happen...but it will.

my father molested tons of foster children (including rape).  They put their 7 best "cases" on the stand.  He was found guilty of rape, sodomy etc. and spent 1 1/2 yrs in county jail!  Unbeknown to me he had been investigated before so the neighboring county was the investigators.  LE & the social workers told me had it been their county he would have gotten 25 years.  I haven't spoken to any of my family (they pulled an "Ants" & said the LE, kids & me ALL lied and rallied behind this monster) in almost 20 yrs but I found out they visited him every day and had dinner in his cell with him.  Now granted I'm from a small town in Kentucky where it is stuck in time but still.  After this all happened NOTHING surprises me anymore

Don't worry.  I generally worry about EVERYTHING.  My mind never stops.  I will worry about her appeal in 10 years.  I still check on Scott Peterson's case every so often.

Lover Boy Bozo is not in court this morning

Yeah...that worries me. If she gets a sentence she doesn't like, I'm going to bet she screams sexual misconduct by Bobo to get a new trial. let's hope and pray that cannot happen!

I have a sneaky suspicion she will be "luring" him into on camera "affection" and he's too stupid & in geriatric frat boy land to realize she's setting him up!

Does anyone have a link to a sight for verdict watch.  Also is there a sight to sign up to get an e-mail or text if the jury is returning with a verdict.  Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

Just got here, still in my jammies...I dreamed about Casey being set free, grinning like a chimpanzee, strolling arm in arm with Mason out of the courthouse...Casey demanding chili from Cindy, and Cindy, cowering in a corner with a spatula in her hand...Please let it just have been a nightmare!
I don't know why I dreamed this, I really believe she will be found guilty on all counts...Just subconscious fears, I guess.

Bill Schaeffer just said if he was on this jury he would find her guilty of 1st degree murder, but would not vote for DP, Lwop.

they stay on death row for 20 plus years anyway, i would be fine with LWOP because soon her notoriety will wane and she will not have anyone to visit on a regular basis everyone will get on with their lives, cindy will try to get her hands on Lees child if he and Mallory have one and most likely george and cindy will split up i dont see how george could want to see her when she has accused him of having something to do with Caylees death. i liked how Linda during her rebuttal said twist the knife a little in cindy and george by casey
