I have wondered, among all the hundreds of other things, if Caylee SAID something that set Casey off--something like who's zanny?  Or i don't want to get in the trunk again!  Could be anything along those lines.

Just speculating to pass the time.

if her and cindy had a fight that night she took caylee, maybe caylee was crying to go back to cindy and that set her off

That is exactly what I think....how dare Caylee betray her by wanting her grandmother.  But then, that would not explain all the searches, etc.

I think Caylee was saying things that kc didn't want to come out.
Almost 3, Caylee was talking........which I think one of the reasons she had to die.
All 3 of my kids at that age were talking good..
Kid's do say the darnest things.

I'm curious as to what other Monkeys think about why Casey suddenly hates her dad so much. 

1.  Is it just because she conjured up this whole accident theory and started to actually believe that her dad did it...
2.  He didn't jump under her bus and do enough to get her out of trouble...

I just remember that she always acted like he was the one she adored and then suddenly she now hates him.  Strange.

Casey and George have been at odds for a very long time.  We saw her in the jailhouse video ask to speak with him, saying their relationship had been broken for some time and was just starting to mend when "all this happened".  She stated that Cindy and Lee ask too many questions. George was coddling her in the jailhouse visits, she probably thought he would be easier to control at that point. (She found out differently once she was released from jail).  Part of me does believe that after so much time of planning her defense, that she does believe her lie.  But I would bet my last dollar she is po'd because he didn't fall on the sword for her.

I agree. Add to that he testified at the GJ hearing which resulted in her going back to jail.  Wonder if KC realizes how detrimental Sindy's lies and deception have been to her?  She will have Sindy to thank for part of the reason she will go to prison for a very long time, it started from the git go when Sindy began the big cover up. Cindy's  spinning of the truth aided KC in believing her own lies and that she would never be convicted.

Something to think about.  I think too much.

if some jurors are wearing suits and dressed up, does that mean they are coming back with a less than murder 1, cause if they were to pick murder 1, they would not be on camera today. 

If could be that the judge has something special planned for them for lunch today.

I guess it could be that, but now, I am going to worry about that.

Don't worry.  I generally worry about EVERYTHING.  My mind never stops.  I will worry about her appeal in 10 years.  I still check on Scott Peterson's case every so often.

What I find interesting about the defense put on by Bozo, is that if they had gotten up there and said she drowned, and then CASEY freaked out because of her psycho mom and her "evil dad" and was so fearful because of her "dysfunctional family" that she out of sheer fear and terror, took Caylee's body out of the pool and then used the duct tape and staged the whole thing as a murder/kidnapping and then left for 31 days because she was scared to go home, etc.. THAT could have possibly gotten her out of this OR just less jail time. All of her lies, and most importantly her throwing EVERYONE else under the bus and taking ABSOLUTELY NO responsibility for ANYTHING makes her look guilty of premeditated murder, IMO.

I could have believed it if I were a jury if she said it was an accident and she covered it all... but I could NOT believe all of the lies and excuses and cop outs they offered..

Listening to LDB's closing again...  somebody would have tried to save her life.  Which begs the question..  let's assume for a second that Casey came around the corner and saw George holding a dead/unconscious Caylee in his arms.  Don't you think George would have screamed or moaned or yelled something?  Neighbors surely would have heard something.. a reaction from a  person finding a dead toddler in a pool.
