Don't forget Judge Perry withheld a motion for mistrial. He is still sitting on it... and hasn't made a ruling. How does that work?

He did say during the trial... he could announce his ruling on that after the verdict was read.

The mistrial would have been the ideal outcome in retrospect!! I said earlier that the judge needs to man up and sanction Baez to the hilt. He should be disbarred.

Monkeys ... it's been wonderful to be here with you for the past few years (and especially today.)  There was a moment today when I wondered what happened to this world, has everyone gone crazy?

Then I came to the cage and was reminded that there are still many many wonderful, intelligent, loving and caring people in this world.  We monkeys are some of them.

I won't allow this one case to make me question humanity.  And I do believe karma always has her way.  Maybe this is her justice.  Maybe Casey would have had it too easy in prison for the rest of her life.  Maybe karma believes the Anthonys all deserve each other. 

I don't have the answer.  But I am truly happy I've met and interacted with so many great monkeys.

The jury ruined everything.

Carpe, I've been crying for an hour straight. You just made me laugh out loud...hard...and now my kids think I'm a lunatic. Lmfao!

 

Gotta keep laughing when I can... or else, I'd die. Justice didn't play out the way we wanted to see it today... but I think it will still happen. Just like it is currently doing with Joran Van der sloot.

I'm channeling Natalee Holloway's parents right about now... two of the strongest, most decent people I have ever seen.

Justice will play out on God's clock. It is what it is... and I will just deal with that. Never give up even on the darkest of days.

    While the family may never know what has happened to Caylee Marie Anthony, they now have closure for this chapter of their life. They will now begin the long process of rebuilding their lives.

    Despite the baseless defense chosen by Casey Anthony, the family believes that the Jury made a fair decision based on the evidence presented, the testimony presented, the scientific information presented and the rules that were given to them by the Honorable Judge Perry to guide them.

    The family hopes that they will be given the time by the media to reflect on this verdict and decide the best way to move forward privately.

    The family also wanted the public to know that if anyone wanted to honor Caylee by leaving stuffed animals or other toys at any area near their home, that they would prefer those items be donated in Caylee’s name to families in need, religious centers, or any other entity where the toys would be appreciated.

that would be a wonderful sentiment (donate the bears etc.) if they had good intentions.  They just don't want to be reminded of Caylee.

Still don't want to believe what just happened actually happened. Justice was not served today and to think you can kill, lie and hide a body so there will be no evidence left to get.
It is just not right.

The A's attorney just issued a statement and George says the verdict was right and they just want to put their family back together again.

This is my opinion but it sure looks like to me that the defense knew that the state, Ashton and Burdick are decent upstanding attorneys and when they heard what the defense came up with they would come to the defense of George. Bozo and Mason are scum attorneys morally bankrupt with no conscience. They played the A's and the Anthony's agreed with the defense to go along with it and it all worked. The Anthony's think they are shunned and hated? They have seen noting yet but you know what they don't care. Their pockets will be lined with money and they will have a merry life and will not care what anyone says. Remember the cruise? Didn't Cindy say something like your all fools you paid for this and stuck her nose up in the air.

I do think that Judge Perry is a fair man but I think his overly concern for the jury may have convinced the jury that she was innocent and he just wanted to get this trial over.
I don't know so many emotions going through my mind and heart right now.

Hi Monkeys,
I just had to post, here among friends, to encourage you.  I have not watched any television since the verdict was read.  I am heartsick to think that 12 people did not see what was so obvious to me.  It will take time, but I promise you all, there will be no true happiness for those who lie and steal and murder.  The entire Anthony family will get what is coming to them. 

Please don't bear the burden of the sin that is KC's to bear.  Don't let your heart be filled with anger.  We all prayed together, and we don't stop believing in God just because he didn't answer our prayers the way we hoped he would.  Hug your kids, your grandkids, your nieces, nephews, and love them the way Caylee should have been loved.  I am upset, hurt, devastated, and even angry that it seems as though she will go unpunished.  However, I am gently reminded by my own sweet daughter that vengeance is the Lord's.

I love you all.
