My hubby is still texting me that he told me so. He will be lucky to get dinner tonight. Where is that frozen dinner with frostbite? I told him when he comes home we are not to talk about it.

Sad to hear about Jeff Aston but I don't blame him for retiring. You could tell his everything went into this case and he knows justice wasn't served. The pros team did good though especially Linda and Jeff.

Jeff makes peanuts compared to what he could have been making in private practice. He stayed this long because he had a cause, he cared about seeing justice get done. I don't blame him one iota for giving up on a system that has so very obviously failed, and failed in such a spectacular manner. It 's time he finally gets compensated equal to his skill and qualifications in the private sector.

Does anyone know if she will be able to now do interviews and/or write a book for money? Because that is even worse that she could profit further off of sweet baby Caylee....

Oh yes.  After Thursday she will likely get to do what she dang well pleases.  Much like she's always done.

Just a thought.  ICA can now just spit out the truth -what exactly happened because she will never be punished for it? Am I right?

right

Yep indeed..she can now write a book like here's how I did do it...and here's where the state screwed up..and no one can touch her.  Double jeopardy..you can not be tried twice for the same murder in Florida.

Yeah Russ even states how a horrific accident "snowballed" out of control.  When Vinnie asked him how he decided that, he said well from the "testimony".  The only testimony I heard that worded it that way was not supposed to be used in their consideration of guilt or innocence.

Prime example that the jury must have thought they didn't need to respect Judge Perry's orders any more than Jose Baez did!

I have to admit that I tended to ignore everybody's testimony in that family.  They are all liers.  I based my decisions on Slores actions or inactions.

I would imagine George sounded shifty.

So, Bozo got what he wanted accusing George.
no kidding this trial wasn't about the family or roy kronk.  i am all for giving someone their day in court but i think there should be far better parameters when allowing the other dude did it defense with ZERO evidence of such.  Sadly, in this case they didn't even say someone else did it except for Caylee herself.

I hope Kronk sues the Anthony's for everything they make on selling Caylee's story...just saying.. an angelic monkey

What about the falsely accused nanny, Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez...could she sue?
She is suing, Morgan and Morgan is representing her..I hope she get's everythng the Anthony's have.....

Since Casey was able to lie her way out of this...I want the next best thing that will truly hit her where it counts...absolutely penniless.  This is petty of me...BUT...I hope her fate finds her penniless, homeless and dying of disease in the very swamps where she disposed of her daughter.

I don't want to be a debbie downer and pour salt in the prosecution's wounds on this message board because they all did a great job! But I personally REALLY wanted them to do 2 things! State the obvious in closing by pointing out that CASEY was Caylee's mother and she had to take responsibility for her actions instead of blaming everyone else. And also I wished they would've brought Caylee in the courtroom to bring out at least a little emotion. Where were the pictures, the video of her singing, all that? Unless it wasn't in evidence? I don't know I'm just rambling. I could sit here and talk about all the ifs-ands-&-buts but it won't do any good.

I'm just so lost right now

Listening to an alternate juror now.  If his intelligence is any indication of the overall jury, no freaking wonder there was a not guilty verdict.

They found the whole freaking Anthony family so pathological, they believed NONE of them.
I wish the judge was watching this bull.

Sounds to me that they blamed all of them in some way & bought the "George is hiding something"...SHAME ON ALL OF THEM for ignoring the obvious.

Caylee - Lady Justice forgot you. But we won't. You're beyond this, finally with a Father - in his arms. You no longer hurt, even if we still hurt for you. You don't care about justice, but we were still hoping for it for you. I'm sorry we failed you. Enjoy your eternity - we will never forget.

bobkealing bob kealing
Source close to #JeffAshton says he has announced plans to retire from Orange-Osceola state atty's office.

Oh my heart hurts for him.. I hope he just takes a vacation and then decides to stay he is needed.

Maybe he is going to open his own law office?

Maybe he is just leaving the state's attorney's office.

Guess we'll see.

I think he was stellar in Casey's case!

I wish him the best.

I  think he was wonderful too and I'm sure he's exhausted.

All I have to say is there is a higher court and we are 3 for 3 -We watched OJ & Michael Jackson be acquitted too but look where they are now.

I don't feel like doing anything.  Dh will be home looking for food, but I do not feel like cooking.  I'm outraged....don't want to hear anymore about this case, but on the other hand, I need to understand what these people were thinking when they found her not guilty.  I need to process this.  Mark Klass couldn't believe the verdict, either.
