I believe they got such dumb people on that jury that they were not intelligent enough to understand what was presented. If you noticed they had NO college graduates on there.

Even people with college degrees can lack common sense which imo is what everyone of these jurors lacked.

ITA KitKat, was on a jury with people with college degrees that "felt" sorry for the guy (civil case) because he fell off a ladder. I (no college degree) didn't feel sorry for him one bit and voted against him because dude was stupid to use ladder that was defective and knew it.

My daughter just brought up if they found her guilty of lying to the police then why would they believe what the defense said happened? That story would have had to come from Casey the way he presented it because he had not proof of anything. Why would they believe that?

Sad to hear about Jeff Aston but I don't blame him for retiring. You could tell his everything went into this case and he knows justice wasn't served. The pros team did good though especially Linda and Jeff.

2. Lie, party, lie, party, lie.............after you murder your child
3. Let your mother report your child missing after a month. Make sure you

    you have gotton rid of your child
5. Make sure you leave evidence of a dead, rotting child in your car trunk.
6. OH, and make sure you leave the body to continue to rot a few blocks
    away from your house.
7. Make damn sure you leave items from your household to wrap the body
    in.
8. Sell the precious photos and videos of the victim to pay for your
    defence for murdering the victim. Then the taxpayers can pay the rest
    after the blood money runs out.

This is how you get away with the perfect murder.

I pray, and this is so not me, I am not vendictive person, but I pray that once she gets out somebody like that guy who killed the abortion doctor (not saying what he did is right) goes and takes her out. 

God forgive me.  Luckily, I do not presently feel those urges myself.  I hate her but my life and my family is to powerful for me to even consider ruining it for that slore. 

I bet Bozo hires her as a paralegal and starts sleeping with her or continues sleeping with her. 

They just said on tv George and Cindy are in hiding.

Mark Lippman said his office is getting death threats- this is the reason George and Cindy are in hiding. 

-Their lives will never be the same.

I'd like to see the jurors read more information on this case.

What a bunch of fools these jurors are.

In the aftermath of this shocking verdict my take away is the prosecution may have made the following strategic mistake.

Instead of emphasizing the premeditation (chloroform searches) and the cold calculated desire to kill her child for a new found freedom, perhaps they should have chosen a more plausible (or different) motive.

Namely, a crime of passion to punish her mother due to a lingering enraged behavior following the major argument (which included attempted choking) within close proximity of the intentional killing. It was perhaps easier to show that this act was the result of rage rather than planning, or premeditation, back in March '08.

Some have asked in recent days why the prosecutors did not make more of this horrific argument between mom and daughter? Well, with the benefit of hindsight I am now convinced this is a damn good point.

Too late, but I totally agree....Motive might have helped.

Nothing else they had would have helped these cowardly lazy people from reaching a different verdict.   This prosecution team deserves NO criticism whatsoever, they put on one heck of a case from nothing left but bones & air...they deserve to be held up on the pedestal they should be placed on as they were concise, organized & devoted to seeking justice for Caylee.   There is no sense being crtical now when they were heroes just this morning, nor would it be any more true to claim the defense team to brlliant when they were nothing short of foul & unprepared beyond lies with a bunch of bunk and bull.    The defense didnt win because they were talented or organized, they won because this jury of 12 aholes  paid attention to the family dysfunction & rewarded this disgusting human being with the benefit of the doubt that she reacted poorly to an accident...those that analyzed the evidence & studied the discovery for three years know it was MURDER, second guessing a false verdict is a waste of time.

I am in shock and beyond pissed off with this verdict, as I know so many are........but I believe someone will go postal on her and she will get an eye for an eye in due time. Someone will kill her. Hopefully she'll be found the same way Caylee was.  ::justice2NJ::

There was a high school teacher on there, wasn't there?  At any rate, I don't have a college degree, but I understood everything clearly...  but I get what you mean.

IMO this is yet another case that screams the need for professional jurors.  They gagged at a gnat & swallowed a camel.   I agreed with Scott Peterson's verdict, but several members his jury were downright scary.

That is true but I think these people were too uneducated to get the science of the trial. My 15 year old son said back when they were presenting the forensics "they better hope they have some intelligent jurors as this will be over most people's head because most people don't have science backgrounds anymore." He was right - they were not intelligent enough to interpret what they were shown.

Very good. #8 reminds me Casey owes the IRS for that $200,000.  she took in already for pics. I think the bill is around $68,000.
