Let me just say the following ...

I am proud of all you Monkeys. We may not always agree and we might have differing opinions, but one thing is certain ... your caring for victims is second to none. In many cases, if not all, you care more about justice and seeking the truth.

This has been a set back; however, I refuse to let evil win.

We will not let the stunning and terrible decision stop us in out relenting pursuit of justice and helping families. This Anthony family is the scourge of the earth. They have been squirrly from the outset. With all of their lies I have to now wonder whether they knew all along that Caylee was dead long before they have admitted.

Stay the course Monkeys ... I refuse to let this POS Casey Anthony deter future justice for victim. She will get hers one day. Spending eternity in the 7th level of hell is a start.

Someone on my FB page suggested it was jury nullification. They might be right.

Catching up but I had to answer this - NO WAY. Jury nullification is where a jury finds someone not guilty because they do not find the law to be constitutional. No way they found CHILD ABUSE to be an unconstitutional charge.

I hear you...but when you get to my later post, I explain in more detail. I was at jury duty when many MANY potential jurors just want to give a not guilty verdic to protest low pay and the way selection is made and how they are forced to serve. This is what makes me think "maybe". Just a thought. I certainly don't know for sure. lol

Also, I don't think enough photos of Caylee were shown. Maybe I missed something...but it didn't seem to me Caylee was focused on enough. I am talking about those cute photos, not the ones of her in the swamp. It didn't personalize it enough.

I agree, the trial was not *really* about Caylee. Although the State tried to keep that in focus.

THESE JURORS WERE TALKING AMONGST THEMSELVES ALL ALONG.

I now wonder if this was reported to the Judge by the Court Officers escorting the jurors. I would not be surprised to find out that the judge let it slide because he was SO concerned about not declaring a mistrial at all costs. The Judge failed here. He NEEDS to save face by going through with heavily sanctioning Baez. He needs to be disbarred.

I hold JP responsible.

I heard on the radio on my way home that the Anthony's stated they want nothing to do with their daughter.  But I haven't read anything here yet about that.  Nor was anything like that in their official statement to the press.


ALSO...why did Florida give Misty Croslin 25 years for selling 190 Oxycontin and Casey gets ZERO YEARS for murdering a child?

There are so many monkeys I want to thank for talking me through things, but I dare not start naming less I forget someone. 

I too feel as if I will wake tomorrow and wait for a verdict...I keep thinking like a little child, magical thinking, let's have a do over.   Surreal.

I am going to say this only because it is fact, not my beliefs,  I believe KC and Cindy gets no more of my emotional energy.   They did not win,  God and "the rain" takes care of it all.  But in the 70's in a Ky. county,  people could "run over the hill" and no one know for a day or so.  The roads are winding, rural,  the boys get drunk, etc.   When it is dark, it is dark. 

I don't really care anymore...as I said before,  it is time to become proactive and advocate for children before they are abused or killed.  Be a friend to a child or to an overwhelmed parent.   Just do something.  For me that something will include boycotting.

They are home by now, the jury I wonder what they are doing how their family is feeling about this verdict. I wonder if they will ever come forward, they may remain unanimous forever and we may never know!

Don't forget, Casey still has legal issues with IRS.

If justice isn't served one way, it has a way of coming back around and may be worse the second time.

Ask Joran Van der Sloot how he likes the Peruvian prison he's in rather than a sunny Aruban beach.  Like JVDS, Casey Anthony won't stay out of trouble.  She may have won the battle, but she won't win the war.

Can we have a thread where monkeys can post our own victim impact statement, since we care more about Caylee than the jurors and her family? I think it would be theraputic.

In addition, how would the alternate know what the others were thinking? They were not supposed to talk about the case and the alternates were not in deliberations. Also, most of them said beforehand they thought she was guilty. What evidence changed their minds? I watched this entire trial. I heard nothing to make me have reasonable doubt.

Anyway, even if they find there was tampering..they can't try her again. But I still want to know what the heck happened.

Good question!  What indeed changed their minds?  And so seemingly quickly at that.  Hmmm..

I do hope the judge looks into the whole matter with the jury.  Sure seems to me as well as many others that something 'just ain't right' with all of it. 

 

Maybe we should all flood the judge with messages about the jury???

I don't that would work, but I feel there HAS to be something we can do.  This is just wrong! I can't take it and want to do something, I just don't what there is, nor do I believe we can.  I keep telling myself she will pay one way or another, here on earth or for sure during judgement day!

totally agree.  going to bed.  glad caylee is in a better place than she was here.  Glad the good guys found her body.  glad that i have been fortunate to not ever in my lifetime actually meet anyone as bad as casey.

After receiving death threats, George and Cindy Anthony are in hiding, WFTV-Channel 9 reported tonight.

I don't believe for one second they are in hiding because of death threats....some damn TV station  probably has them at the frigging Ritz paying them for an frigging interview....I hope they choke on the damn crab puffs!! Lying sacks of chit need to hide for the rest of their worthless lives
