Here is what the jurors do.

1.  They get the case, read instructions then they elect a Foreman
2.  Once they start deliberating they try to put the puzzle pieces together to see if they fit the charges.
3.  If everyone doesn't agree they have to work on GETTING everyone to agree.  The problem with that is it takes time.  Those in a hurry are more likely to change their mind to get out of there.

I can understand them not finding her guilty of murder in the first degree but AGGRAVATED CHILD ABUSE was a slam dunk, IMO
I agree. There is no way on Earth that the JURY should not have found Casey guilty of AGGRAVATED CHILD ABUSE. To do so would mean that you heard none of the evidence presented or just rejected it. The idea that this jury did not provide justice for Caylee is mind boggling. There is no way this jury should have ever contemplated letting Casey Anthony walk out of jail.

They actually bought the BS of a drowning. UNREAL. What part about no one turns a accident into a murder?

It frightens me that there are such stupid people out there.

And they vote ...

I'm still numb....

I'd like to believe in justice and maybe it has yet to come.... Maybe God has another plan. I doubt KC and the A's have seen the end of their suffering...if that's what one could call it....I've ran a few scenarios through my mind today, as I sat here listening, reading and watching reports.

I see a Jack Rubyesque guy/gal entering the picture...KC's "Bella Vita" ends as she leaves the county jail. Call it vigilante justice if you will.

I see slore out "celebrating," doing shots, bumping and grinding, dancing on the stripper pole, when she suddenly loses her grip, comes crashing down on her head, goes into convulsions and dies on the dance floor with her short skirt wrapped up around her waist....she's always been such a class act and has led such a dignified life....NOT.

I don't think the A's have any idea how deep their pain has yet to go. We all know, straight from the whorse's mouth, what a "spiteful beotch" she is...I see her setting the family down after a bowl full of homemade chili and cornbread, while she explains, in excruciating detail, how she killed Caylee, where she killed Caylee and why she killed Caylee. And since we all know Cindy and KC are just alike, Cindy will smile her evil generational grin, rub her princess's head and say..."We know dear...that's why I put chloroform in the chili tonight," then George and Lee wrap the lying, partying slut's face in duct tape, throw her in a few garbage bags and toss her into the swamp to rot....

I guess I'm moving into my angry stage....

justice averted...

Sorry if this offends anyone, I'm simply at a loss. I don't know what to think, or how to feel. This is a very sad day.....

I'm not offended. I love it. That'd be justice. Great ending.

Notice how he kept saying WE THOUGHT, WE WEREN"T CONVINCED, etc.
He never deliberated with the other jurors.   He was an alternate, who was
seperated from the others at the end of closing statements.

Wreck has been pointing this out.

your're right - I didn't catch it before, but you're right WE WE WE
and they are not suppose to talk about the case

Did JP or any official ever instruct the 12 jury members and two alternates together as a group outside of the courtroom setting at any time throughout the trial?

It appears that there was some influence which directed this jury as well as the two alternates to consider ONLY the defence's closing arguments in regards to reasonable doubt.

Janet

What if they found the jurors broke the law did talk, were bribed, or paid, didn't care ect. Then what? Has that happened after a verdict? What could be done?

Had to come back and post this in case it wasn't already... video of Jesse on Nancy Grace tonight.

http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/crime/2011/07/05/ng.totmom.fiancee.hln.html

Finally we get to hear from someone who knew Caylee and loved her and is showing anger towards her killer over today's verdict! He's a little ticked with the SP too but, poor guy...bless him for speaking up for Caylee today.

Good night again you wonderful monkeys.

Tks for putting this up.
Kc is dead to Jesse period.......

bobkealing bob kealing
Announced plan in Jan./stuck around to finish this case.“@DiDimond: Here's a question:Why did Jeff Aston suddenly resign from Pros office?
http://twitter.com/#!/bobkealing

My guess, is because he put on a pretty solid case that even an 8th grader should be able to grasp... and 12 morons tanked the ship. He's probably disgusted.

...and he should be. The prosecution was pretty solid... unfortunately, he was talking to 12 effing potted plants.

Carpe

There are underlying reasons why all TWELVE jurors failed to "grasp" the presentation of the prosecution's case against Casey Anthony.  IMO

Janet

I agree Janet

And Ashton was set to retire before the trial, but he wanted this case is what I hear!!!

It is what it is, this is what has happened.  I can't believe this, and am as upset as any of you, but in the end, there is a higher power that will handle this exactly as it should be - believe!

Casey will get hers.  In fact the entire Anthony family will.  Karma is a bitch.

I honestly believe this.

Her life will be a living hell once she is released.

I thought so too Mission....

He's not flipping off the media....

He's saying "f U" to the legal system, LE, the Florida taxpayers, the constitution, and Lady Justice. He is a disgrace....

Edit.  The f part was too close to real thing.  MB

and of course geraldo got the first interview with baez in which baez looked half drunk

I refuse to watch Whorealdo now. No doubt Asshat is drunk.Celebrating the death of a child, do you expect anything else?  He just cares he won a case, not the truth off Caylee!

In regards to the Casey Anthony case ... I don't have a clue.

However ... if any obstruction of justice process did occus ... it must be exposed and ... those involved must be held accountable.  IMO
