ARUBA: It's all about Natalee...we won't give up!

I was so happy Linda debunked the "amazing mother myth". That always made me yell at the TV.
me to on that, Im wondering if jury got their lunch break today if so then i'm thinking they are use to an hour and a half to eat.. and if they took that hour and a half if so they have only been going at it for like 51 minutes

On HLN they said earlier that the jury was having lunch, sandwiches were brought in.  They said that they could be deliberating while they eat!

Interesting....defense team is in the bar/restaurant across from the court house - Mason was rude to media

Turn on HLN

He was just using them for good press and to preach his "KC is innocent" spiel.  He does not need to do that any more.

No, Im finding it interesting that they didnt go back to offices and staying close to the court house.    Moreover, who is footing that bill to close down a restaurant for them.

They know if it is a quick verdict it will be guilty so evidently they are sticking around knowing what the verdict will be.

I also heard the jurors were far more dressed up today than usual, one who wore tennie shoes the entire time is in high heels, ties on today instead of just  a jacket....I know from past trials that the media looks to see what the jurors are wearing on every day they deliberate and I assume it's because they could be interviewed after the verdict.

yep I heard that to, may be done today and interviews tonight

IIRC the day the Scott P jurors reached a verdict they dressed up, anyone else remember? ::justice2NJ::

So, I cannot sleep.

So, I am back.

I see we have 1 person who thinks a not guilty on all counts will come down.

I don't want to know who, but even the lying to police charges not guilty?

I just cannot see that at all.

i could see  the idiot calling up tony and being like well thats all cleared up konw of any parties this weekend.

She is not going anywhere but to the women's state prison.

I wonder if they can choose to eat while deliberating? I would want to after being sequestered from my family, and you know they are ready to get back home and IMO they have more than enough evidence to easily find her guilty of Felony murder of Premeditated murder.

I was just over at the JB mission and I was laughing, but then I said well they sound like us, only difference is they buy the BS.  Everything is the judges fault over there, the state, Jeff, Linda, etc., and poor Casey is having a miscarriage of justice.

Many predicted not guilty. Were discussing a poll that said 95% people thoguth the state was better than the dumbfense.  They cannot believe that number.

Check them out.  Some comedy relief.

good question...

i imagine if i were on the jury and my mind was already leaning that way, i would think maybe others would be too and it may not take long and just in case, I'd like to look my best. If they've already decided in what order when they'll give interviews to the media as they have, i know my mind would immediately going to "hmm, what to wear?" and be ready just in case.

then again, they could have dressed up mainly because it's the last day of appearing in the court room for this trial.

I don't necessarily recall that bit, probably because it was so long ago.. but I do recall the female juror who spoke after the verdict.. I seem to recall being nervous because I thought I had heard that she looked at him before the verdict was read, and there was a concern that she may have been conveying that they were going to be in his favor.. then we found out differently.

That would be my theory, that individually they already knew how they were going to vote and so they dressed better. WRT dressing better since it was the last day in court, I could see that as a possibility but I think the other explanation makes more sense to me considering many may be interviewed. Just my opinion.

i think if they can't convict her of 1st based on the circumstantial evidence they saw than they just can't convict on circumstantial evidence.  i cant think of what else they could have had.

Fate Of Casey Anthony In Jurors' Hands
Casey Anthony, 25, Could Face Death Penalty If Convicted
POSTED: Monday, July 4, 2011
UPDATED: 1:51 pm EDT July 4, 2011

 ::snipping2::
Perry reminded the jurors that it is not up to the defendant to prove their innocence. He said a defendant choosing not to testify it is not an indication of guilt.

"Whatever verdict you render must be unanimous," Perry said.

Only 12 of the 17 jurors brought in from Pinellas County will participate in deliberations. Five of the jurors are alternates, but were not aware of this during the trial.

Prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick ended closing arguments earlier Monday with a photo of the "Bella Vita" tattoo Casey Anthony got while Caylee was missing, and asking who benefited from Caylee's death.

I was thinking the same thing im...

However, in thinking about it, they did not reach a verdict on last day of the trial, so they would have known a verdict was near or had even been reached...IIRC they deliberated about 6 days....had to get rid of a couple jurors and once they had the new jurors in place reached a verdict in about 8 hours IIRC...
