I am in shock and beyond pissed off with this verdict, as I know so many are........but I believe someone will go postal on her and she will get an eye for an eye in due time. Someone will kill her. Hopefully she'll be found the same way Caylee was.  ::justice2NJ::

I want to know why she's not spending her las days behind bars in gen pop?
She's not guilty...why does she need protective custody?
Costs more $....I want to call the jail and tell them, but my mother doesn't want me to, lol.

I will respectfully disagree with that. Caylee is in a place of perfect love and happiness where every tear is wiped away and there is no sorrow or death there. She knows nothing of all the madness that is happening here on earth. She is with those who love God, truth and justice and never has to worry about being hurt again. She hears the angels sing and I am sure she spends time in the presence of the One who loves and cares for children. Her tears have been wiped away forever. Someday I hope to see her there.

Now that ive seen what has happened in caylees case, im kinda glad how the cops handled little Haileighs case when they coudnt get any truth out of misty or the rest of C clan, just send them all up the river with out a paddle.

That would be the best poetic justice. Maybe that is why this happened. If she got life in prison, she would probably get along like a house on fire with the other inmates. Justice is patiently waiting for her to get out of jail. Justice will have its day, and Justice will have its say.

I have gone through the grieving process before sadly, this feels very similar, I am in denial and anger.  I don't even know what to feel, I feel like the world has turned upside down.

I don't want to be a debbie downer and pour salt in the prosecution's wounds on this message board because they all did a great job! But I personally REALLY wanted them to do 2 things! State the obvious in closing by pointing out that CASEY was Caylee's mother and she had to take responsibility for her actions instead of blaming everyone else. And also I wished they would've brought Caylee in the courtroom to bring out at least a little emotion. Where were the pictures, the video of her singing, all that? Unless it wasn't in evidence? I don't know I'm just rambling. I could sit here and talk about all the ifs-ands-&-buts but it won't do any good.

My husband is Irish from a long time Northern Irish family and his first remark when I told him the verdict is "that is the way it it done when someone gets to the jury & this is obviously what happened here."

Turbo, my sweet, I kept thinking the same thing.  The jury's verdict makes no sense, and their adamant refusal to talk to the media makes me think someone got to them.  We know what a sleaze bag Jerry Lyons was...Who knows what they might have been threatened with.  (It would make me feel marginally better than thinking they are just ignorant fools.)

Hubby and I were saying the same thing a while ago.  We're curious about how happy baez seemed this morning with his finger pistols at the camera...we're wondering if slimy lyons did something dirty. WTH was baez so chipper about this morning when he should have been a freaking nervous wreck?

At least they're in the pokey and for a lonnnnng time. There's some sort of justice...Caylee didn't get squat...not even child abuse, not anything.

I think they could have had a video of Casey throwing a garbage bag into the woods on Suburban, and it still wouldn't have made a difference. They were the only 17 people on the planet stupider than Bozo. Except for Cindy, I forgot about her.

i agree, for whatever reason they didn't want to convict her and they didn't. 

I also think that Cindy's performance on the stand, listening to her call and bending over double with "Grief" was probably factored in.  IMO it was an act.  After all, she has heard that tape many times and three years have passed.  Grieving Grandmother, yeah, sure.  And then there was the little matter of her lying under oath--many times.  Guess the jury bought it.  Shame, though, that that narcissistic twit got away with murder.  By the by, I still don't think that pic at the sliding door was Caylee.  Think they got the little girl from the mall to pose again.  Gave her ten bucks and one of those bears nobody wants.

I believe they got such dumb people on that jury that they were not intelligent enough to understand what was presented. If you noticed they had NO college graduates on there.

I thought there were a couple of teaches on there..and nurses..so that is what really puzzles me..somehow they did not understand reasonable doubt vs doubt vs no doubt...and that is what let her walk.

But seriously I think they were just ready to leave Orlando and that was that...I mean not even talking to the press.

I also blame JP for letting the defense do whatever they felt like the whole way through the past 3 years..from day one..

Sorry but JP was so worried about an appeal he overlooked justice and the rights of the victim and the State representing her.
Baez ran roughshod over this court from day one..and that did not change when JP came onbaord.  Jp had no qualms calling out the prosecution..but bent over to kiss the defense azz.  He should have let in the pictures, he shuld have let in the can of death...he should have snctioned Baez while the trial was going on..he didn't.  I think the jury read this as the judge was on the defense side and the mean old prosecution was wrong.  JP let Caylee down too..all in the name of safe guarding his precious appeal record.

Yep, and the sick thing is she will have men lined up. All those men that wrote her in jail who wanted to marry her. She will be a celebrity, rich, not a care in the world.

We need to boycott any show that gives Casey or any of her supporters and accomplices a forum to spew their garbage. I will only watch anything Casey Anthony related if it's news that she is dead.

The thing that irked me is the whole deal about "reasonable doubt."  There was no reasonable doubt.  Any doubt was unreasonable and illogical.  A person with nothing to hide doesn't wait 30 days to say her kid has been kidnapped, doesn't create a wild tale about a babysitter having stolen her, doesn't change her story and even come up with a brand new one for trial.  There is no 'reasonable' doubt, only a legal system which rewards liars and encourages people to abandon their own good common sense.
