Seeking Justice for Caylee

« Reply #4060 on: July 05, 2011, 10:50:57 PM »

anyone think JP will give casey the maximum on the lying to police charge?

Brandi raises her hand!

I hope so but I have no confidence in this case anymore...none

I pray so!  JP needs to redeem himself for rushing this over a holiday.  Those jurors just wanted to go home. They didn't give a shit about justice, just there vacations, which I hope suck for them!  Beside BOZO needs disbarred for all the BS he pulled!  I do also agree, little hope in justice Sad

Agreed.
Anyone think the judge will go through with his threats to Bozo...report him to the bar?

No...he's never followed through on threats.

The jurors must have had some of that magical dang thinkin goin on cause there sure wasn't any logical thinkin goin on.

Sure makes one wonder what all the laughter was coming from in the jury room we heard so much about... ...a baby is dead and her mother is on trial as the most logical suspect...what could be humorous???

OMG, one of the alternate jurors is talking on Greta ... Now I know why a killer is going free.

Shaking my head ... these F'ers did not listen to one thing the STATE said. These yokels didn't think this case was going to get the attention it got. Go back and go live under your rock.

Hey killers ... go to Pinellas County ... I guess they thing killing people is ok, especially helpless, defenseless little 2 year olds.

What did they say????

Good evening sad, mad Monkeys!  I've read 500+ pages on my BlackBerry and just jumping in to ask this...is it possible that this jury so wanted this to end and get home that they only convicted her of the crimes they knew wouldn't hold them in sequestration?  If proved, would that overturn the verdict?  If there was talk like this, if someone does step forward then she can be tried all over again right?  Someone also mentioned the motion held till after the verdict by JP and talk of his overturning other verdicts!  Anyone have a clue as to what I'm trying to say and maybe have some sort of answer?  This can't be the way it's supposed to be.  What happened today is so wrong and I do not believe this is the end of it.  I refuse to let this lie like this in my pea brain.  Someone tell me some good news about this?!

http://www.imperfectparent.com/topics/2011/07/05/jury-in-casey-anthony-trial-refuses-to-talk-to-media-media-stunned/

Quote
In the courtroom Detective Yuri Melich stood and watched the defense team and Casey Anthony celebrate their victory, afterwards he sat down, head down as though the wind had been knocked out of him. Several officers who also worked the case and came to court today to hear the verdict were seen with tears in their eyes.

These are the guys and gals that really cared about Caylee.  They were on hands and knees picking through a swamp to find every last piece of her.  Bless their hearts.  They've done an awesome job with no thanks.  But we know what they gave.  And so does Caylee.

This gives some insight into the thinking of the jury.
They think it was an accident that snowballed out of control and the family participated in covering it up.

unfreakenbelievable.

Yes, apparently River Cruz is the only witness they heard!

With this verdict people hated the family some what, hated kc more.

Now they are the MOST hated family in the world I bet ya...

Still can't get over this...

I think its unreal for Baez and the Defense team to be high-fiving each other, jumping up and down and wooping it up.

What class ... dancing on the grave of little Caylee, oh that's right she didn't get a grave, she was double bagged and left in a swamp to rot and be chewed on by animals.

Yep I agree
I gotta bad feeling about this like something is going to happen - boomarang or something.

Susan Moss on NG:  In jury selection the only 12 people in the world that believed the world was flat were randomly selected.

Let the mean remarks begin... and let em' pour like a storm with no end.

And on that note, I'm off to have one more nightcap, and then see if there's any way I can sleep. Gotta get up early in the am. I pray you all are able to rest well tonight despite the devastation and you all have only good dreams. Good night, good Monkeys.

Notice how he kept saying WE THOUGHT, WE WEREN"T CONVINCED, etc.
He never deliberated with the other jurors.   He was an alternate, who was
seperated from the others at the end of closing statements.

Wreck has been pointing this out.

Here is what the jurors do.

1.  They get the case, read instructions then they elect a Foreman
2.  Once they start deliberating they try to put the puzzle pieces together to see if they fit the charges.
3.  If everyone doesn't agree they have to work on GETTING everyone to agree.  The problem with that is it takes time.  Those in a hurry are more likely to change their mind to get out of there.

I can understand them not finding her guilty of murder in the first degree but AGGRAVATED CHILD ABUSE was a slam dunk, IMO

In my view also.   With blinders on even ... strange.

So, there was one on the jury, at a least an alternate, with a college degree.  Unfortunately, he wasn't a thinking person however.

what about the nurses and the single special ed teacher?  I'm pretty sure those careers require a bachelor's degree.

Going on memory, so I could be wrong but one was a nurses aide-I am not sure what degree that involves.

Here is a quick link to all of the jurors...oh and Nikki beautiful poem.

Answering question about the nurse's aide...no degree, 3 month course in a vocational setting and licensing by the state and renewed yearly.  Can get the same license and course taught at a nursing home when signing on to work there for 1 year.

If the jury did do this as he is stating can that be cause for a mistrial and KC be tried again.  This is not right!!!

I hope and pray that JP gives her the maximum she can get.
I hope that Zenida Gonzales takes her for as much as possible.
I hope that for the remaining time spent in jail she now gets put into general population.
I hope she is shunned on the street and knows what it like that everyone she sees is disgusted by her.
I hope and pray that the young crowd down in Florida and across the United States do not latch onto her for celebrity, I hope they turn their backs on her as she approaches.

In my eyes, Florida just legalized murder. Cindy, lock your doors and shut off the light and pray for your own soul.

KLAAS and RED and MODS

Can we have a thread where monkeys can post our own victim impact statement, since we care more about Caylee than the jurors and her family? I think it would be theraputic.

Probably a stupid idea, but just a thought.

TIA JSM

STOP that crap ......just stop it!! Why do you have to do that all the time.......STOP IT!!
I have been telling you for how many years now....STOP IT....do not make me come to Dallas

My guess, is because he put on a pretty solid case that even an 8th grader should be able to grasp... and 12 morons tanked the ship. He's probably disgusted.

...and he should be. The prosecution was pretty solid... unfortunately, he was talking to 12 effing potted plants.
