I think he's horribly hurt.......... not that he "lost" but that he could not bring justice to little Caylee.

I just read that he's in retirement as of the end of the week.  If we send cards, will he get them?

I am sick...the longer this day goes on the more the reality of this sets in. I keep thinking in my mind...what about Caylee?
I hope when those jurors got home they were faced with many friends and family who demand to know wth were they thinking...I hope instead of feeling like the big chitz who were on the Casey Anthony murder trial they are now feeling like the dumb azzes they are for letting a baby killing slore go free...

Just wait til they report back to work you know these jurors someone knew who they were family neighbors co workers wouldnt surprise me if some if not all that works has to find another job, I listened again to verdict reading not one juror sounded like they were crying when they were in court saying they all agreed to the verdict

Why did you leave me alone in the trunk?
While you partied and smoked and got horribly drunk?

Why did you kill me and stuff me in bags?
And duct tape my mouth while I coughed and I gagged?

Why did you lie and blame everyone?
You know that you did it so you could have fun.

Why did you throw me away like i'm trash?
You took me away.. I was gone in a flash.

I loved you and trusted you more every day..
Just so you  could drug me and throw me away.

This jury cant see through your lies and deceit..
But I have told God all that YOU did to me...

He told me He knew and that justice will come..
And I will be watching when you come undone.

 
God gave you a gift and you tossed it away...
You thought that at two, I just got in the way. 


You took me away because I got attention..
People loved me a lot and you never were mentioned.

How much are you loved and doted on now?
PLease tell me, mommy, I want to know how.

How could you do this to your little girl?

It is what it is, this is what has happened.  I can't believe this, and am as upset as any of you, but in the end, there is a higher power that will handle this exactly as it should be - believe!

I'm still numb....

I'd like to believe in justice and maybe it has yet to come.... Maybe God has another plan. I doubt KC and the A's have seen the end of their suffering...if that's what one could call it....I've ran a few scenarios through my mind today, as I sat here listening, reading and watching reports.

I see a Jack Rubyesque guy/gal entering the picture...KC's "Bella Vita" ends as she leaves the county jail. Call it vigilante justice if you will.

I see slore out "celebrating," doing shots, bumping and grinding, dancing on the stripper pole, when she suddenly loses her grip, comes crashing down on her head, goes into convulsions and dies on the dance floor with her short skirt wrapped up around her waist....she's always been such a class act and has led such a dignified life....NOT.

I don't think the A's have any idea how deep their pain has yet to go. We all know, straight from the whorse's mouth, what a "spiteful beotch" she is...I see her setting the family down after a bowl full of homemade chili and cornbread, while she explains, in excruciating detail, how she killed Caylee, where she killed Caylee and why she killed Caylee. And since we all know Cindy and KC are just alike, Cindy will smile her evil generational grin, rub her princess's head and say..."We know dear...that's why I put chloroform in the chili tonight," then George and Lee wrap the lying, partying slut's face in duct tape, throw her in a few garbage bags and toss her into the swamp to rot....

I guess I'm moving into my angry stage....

Sorry if this offends anyone, I'm simply at a loss. I don't know what to think, or how to feel. This is a very sad day.....

The jurors must have had some of that magical dang thinkin goin on cause there sure wasn't any logical thinkin goin on.

Sure makes one wonder what all the laughter was coming from in the jury room we heard so much about... ...a baby is dead and her mother is on trial as the most logical suspect...what could be humorous???

At first I called them cowards, which they are, but do NOT want to hear from a bunch of selfish idiots.  I pray their convictions haunt them the rest of their lives and that their holiday plans suck!  What about the dad who wanted to make his graduation party for his son?  What if it was HIS son?  Will he be able to live with himself? How about that fun trip to London of another juror.  JP should never have made those promises to an already reluctant jury.  He failed the system too and will never follow through with his threats against Bozo.  I'm so disgusted.   Happy vacation jurors, I pray this weighs on your consciouces during you fun time!

And JP, I admired you for so long, but you assisted in this justice tragedy!

The state does everything right, straight forward, no sucker punches.
Bozo does everything wrong(gets away with a lot).

Here is what the jurors do.

1.  They get the case, read instructions then they elect a Foreman
2.  Once they start deliberating they try to put the puzzle pieces together to see if they fit the charges.
3.  If everyone doesn't agree they have to work on GETTING everyone to agree.  The problem with that is it takes time.  Those in a hurry are more likely to change their mind to get out of there.


I can understand them not finding her guilty of murder in the first degree but AGGRAVATED CHILD ABUSE was a slam dunk, IMO

Agreed about how they did not find her guilty on AGGRAVATED CHILD ABUSE. (Same for my husband.)

About 1-3 ... that is what they are supposed to do.

A text my husband (next to me in our home office) sent me:

  AGGRAVATED MANSLAUGHTER OF A CHILD
  § 782.07, Fla. Stat.
  To prove the crime of Aggravated Manslaughter of a Child, the State must prove the following
  two elements beyond a reasonable doubt:
  1. Caylee Marie Anthony is dead.
  2. Casey Marie Anthony’s act(s) caused the death of Caylee Marie Anthony.
  or
  The death of Caylee Marie Anthony was caused by the culpable negligence of Casey
  Marie Anthony.

For the jury to reach a verdict of Not Guilty on this count alone is a complete miscarriage of justice! (Mother was home with child, child drowned, she's negligent!)

The state didn't need to prove anything on this count. Baez admitted it! His "accident that snowballed out of control" theory is an admission of this very charge, which he made both in his opening statements as well as his closing arguments.

The culpable negligence in this case is her complete indifference to to the whereabouts of the child (in a location that includes a pool, therefore where harm can come to the child.)

This totally ignores anything and everything the State was trying to prove and relies solely on what the DEFENSE ADMITTED THROUGHOUT THE CASE.

Every member of that jury should feel ashamed! Such a charge does not carry the Death Penalty, so it's not like they'd have more work to do.

Notice how he kept saying WE THOUGHT, WE WEREN"T CONVINCED, etc.
He never deliberated with the other jurors.   He was an alternate, who was
seperated from the others at the end of closing statements.

Did JP or any official ever instruct the 12 jury members and two alternates together as a group outside of the courtroom setting at any time throughout the trial?

It appears that there was some influence which directed this jury as well as the two alternates to consider ONLY the defence's closing arguments in regards to reasonable doubt.
