Hi Monkeys,
You know this is my first post and I just wanted to send words of encouragement to all of you. Many of you have put your hearts, souls and brains into this battle which has lasted over three years.  I read so many posts about this case and just was amazed at how fast and in depth and quick thinking all you have been. This site member's have always kept their eyes on the prize which was justice for caylee. Sadly in our justice system, sometimes the bad guy gets away, sometimes as in this case the bad guy even gets away with murder. I don't think there is anybody in the whole world who has followed this case that doesn't believe that Casey has her daughter's blood on her hands but just like the OJ case or even the Robert Blake case, the one flaw in our justice system is that if one throws enough money at it, or brings in enough "experts" and creates enough doubt you can get away with murder.
Yes its a sad day for Caylee's supporters, and perhaps all of us need a couple of days to exhale, go the gym, walk away from the TV, visit somebody we haven't seen in a while, take time with our children or make love to our spouse. We are all emotionally drained and angry and we need to defuse a little bit. But make no mistake, Casey isn't the only child murder out there, and sadly this isn't the end of the mistreatment, abused, or even the murdering of children. Evil won a battle today but the war continues and I am confident that the members of this site will continue to do everything humanely possible to prevent people from getting away with murdering other people and to stand up for those who can not speak.  I applauded each and everyone of you and hope you can take a little time to look in a mirror and whisper to yourself.. you did everything you could possibly do.  I know up in Heaven Caylee smiles down on you all.

Thanks for your insight Hawk and Welcome to SM.  Need new perspectives, alot of hurting monkeys here for the injustice!

Again, Welcome and make yourself at home!

Welcome and thanks for the insight. We are all grieving, which is normal ...hear that Casey????

If the jurors were bribed to come back with a not guilty verdict then it could be a retrial, I think they were bribed before they left home, remember JP let them go home til sunday? The dufence  had their names and addresses how hard would it of been to get someone or several people  to go and offer them money etc? And bozo and mumbles would be clear cause they were at their hotel

Funny you said that - that was the FIRST thing my husband said after the verdict. He is old school Irish and he said that is "the way it is done" when you want a not guilty verdict.

You know why the jurors can't talk to the media, right?  They don't have a real reason why they didn't convict her other than they wanted to go home.  I'll bet they were done yesterday but wanted whatever special dinner, etc., the State of FL was treating them to and just said they will hold on to it till Tues morn.!  Please God shine the light on the liars and deceivers!!!!  Let someone step forward and show proof that one or two jurors explained that if they convict her of any crime other than the misdemeanors it meant that they would have to stay until released after penalty phase.  I've been thinking about some of the jurors who may not be as educated as I know a couple of them to be...maybe they told them they couldn't go home for a while if the above happened?  Maybe some of the smarter ones guided the less educated ones?  I hope that one honest person steps forward for Caylee.  I find this verdict very peculiar!  Before you start with the OJ comparison, he was a hero to some folks and even though he was definitely guilty no one wanted to see him go down for real.  Sad to say but he was a legend to a few little boys...Casey was a lying, backstabbing, bed hopping, thieving slore who partied while her child was thrown in the woods like rotting trash after decomposing in her car from her mother killing her.  I CAN'T think of ONE PERSON who likes her or doesn't think she's guilty!!!!

2. Discussions Outside Deliberations
Jurors are admonished to refrain from
discussing the case with any family
members or friends during the trial and
during deliberations. In most states, jurors
are also instructed not to discuss the case
with fellow jurors until they enter the
deliberating room. Jurors cannot discuss the
witnesses or case issues over lunch or during
breaks. Evidence suggesting that such
discussions occurred outside the deliberating
room is a basis for appeal or new trial.

I still don't think a mistrial can be called after a "not guilty" verdict -- no matter what. Even if it was possible, I don't think Perry would call for one because it would expose that he knew it was going on. He was in too big a rush to get the trial over WITHOUT a mistrial.

Had to come back and post this in case it wasn't already... video of Jesse on Nancy Grace tonight.

http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/crime/2011/07/05/ng.totmom.fiancee.hln.html

Finally we get to hear from someone who knew Caylee and loved her and is showing anger towards her killer over today's verdict! He's a little ticked with the SP too but, poor guy...bless him for speaking up for Caylee today.

Good night again you wonderful monkeys.

This is about the only way to see this retried in court... The last type of "irregular conduct" includes cases that reflect simple confusion in the application of complex jury instructions or verdict forms, resulting in a verdict that does ...

I wonder what Judge Perry thinks about the verdict? If he reads the irregularities we have pointed out this evening, PLUS all the spankings he kept saying he was going to give Baez during the trial, but didn't AND thinks the verdict stinks...I sure would hope he would do what he should. I hope he restores our faith in him.

IanHawk,  thanks for putting it in prospective.  It is just so heartbreaking, just look at the TV tonight also.  Everybody (most anyway) are feeling the same thing.  I need to be in bed right now for work tomorrow but I know I will not sleep.  How can those jurors sleep?  Maybe Bozo and Company can take Casey out to Fusions Thursday night and celebrate.  That would really stick it to all of us for believing in a baby named CAYLEE whom we came to love.

thanks.

Welcome IanHawk! I feel tonight as if the last three years have all been in vain...we wanted justice for Caylee and blindly believed it would come. I guess we should have known from Natalee and Haleigh and Zahra and all the others who had were murdered and thrown away like trash and received no justice.Right now I don't know that I have it in me to get so involved in another case. Our system is terribly broken. When these kind of things can happen to our children who should be protected at all costs something is terribly wrong.

Seeking Justice for Caylee

« Reply #4192 on: July 05, 2011, 11:46:11 PM »

Good Evening Monkeys and Guest!

I have been sitting here for 3 years just knowing in my heart that Caylee would get justice one day. But it appears that will not happen here on earth. I will never let Caylee Anthony out of my mind or my heart.

Just my thoughts on honoring Caylee.....We all have taken time from our own families in seeking justice for Caylee. I think the best way to honor her memory is to turn the tv's off and get out and enjoy our children and grandchildren for what is left of the summer. Shower them with all the love that precious lil Caylee never received in her short life. Do not give the tv networks any hits for their ratings. If no one watches the shows that the Anthony will be featured on , they will get the picture eventually.

I will be stepping away for a while to let my heart heal from the injustice done to Precious Angel Caylee. I will listen to sentencing Thursday then I will try to deal with my emotions. Today has been especially sad for me as my 11 yr old grandson was measured and fitted for a wheel chair today. His Muscular Dystrophy has progressed so fast that the time has come that he can no longer walk for any length of time. Please keep him in your prayers. His name is Chandler.
God Bless you all!
You have my prayers Darla. I hope with all hopes the media will realize the outrage over this verdict is far and wide and will not bother with KC or the Ants.  I for one will boycott and contact advertisers if they do.  As far as I am concerned there is nothing a movie or book would tell us anyway - we know everything there is to know I will not support these vile people.

Hello Monkeys........I worked today from 1pm to 10pm...as some of you know I have some big problems of my own going on concerning my own daughter at this time in my life and have been torn between doing stuff about her and keeping up here. I was at break at work when my cousin come out and told me about the verdict. I culdnt believe it, I just couldnt ......How in the world could anyone set Casey Anthony free of these charges when it is so clear that she killed her darling baby girl, I busted into tears right then and there, my emotions are on edge to begin with and this really set me off.

I have been a member here for a long time now and always come here as a way to discuss things with my Monkey family and we have been through so much with these poor children that it seems like no one care about but us. I am just so discusted with these 12 jurors and Biaz and his team and Casey and her family that I just dont know what to do. How can she smile, how can Biaz celebrate when little Caylee is still gone and nothing but ashes now. Did she truly mean so little to all of them that they think this is a victory? I think there must be something that can be done,   there has to be......Maybe Im just nto smart enough to come up with the answer but it must be there somewhere.  Im still in shock but I also know that if nothing else I would like to think that Caylee is looking down on her Monkey family and saying, at least I have all of you on my side!
