In the 1970's, gas was less than $.35 a gallon.  Bread was less than $1 a loaf.  Why would anyone push inflation?

Inflation destroys retirement savings.  Inflation destroys dreams.  No matter how hard you work and save you'll never have enough to get ahead.  Why would anyone encourage inflation?

It really bothers me that our financial 'leaders' seem to thing inflation is good for Americans.  I hear the other day someone suggest it makes your debt seem smaller.

Every hear of stagflation?  Wages that don't increase with inflation?  Who's debts are they talking about?

Does it really matter the size of your debt if you can't pay it?  Your wages are stagnant.  Your cost for energy, (gas, heat, electric, auto fuel) keep rising?  The price of food and clothing and basic necessities is skyrocketing?

Who's debts are they talking about?  Why would it ever be a good thing to give savers nothing for keep their money parked in the bank?

The only thing I can think of - It's RICH PEOPLE helping other RICH PEOPLE get richer.  And, on the backs of millions of Americans.

What kind of deals does the Federal Reserve make in secret?  Why aren't all those deals transparent?

Why would the Federal Reserve be the 'lender of last resort'?  If they didn't manage the mortgage market well, how are they managing all the money they create?

What is their loss ration?  How much of that money do they ever get back?  How many bad deals do they walk into?

Inflation makes the governments debt smaller, it cheats Americans who have saved for retirement, and all the little people who have to pay taxes to pay the debt service.

Who's getting all those deals from the Fed?  Are they ever paying the money back?  Or is the Fed like a big guaranteed casino machine for the wealthy and well connected?  Do they get deals like the autoworker unions?

I think the American people deserve to know where their money is going.  Put that Fed check book online.  Let everyone see how well they're managing the nation's business.  NO MORE SECRETS.  Make ALL the records, from inception, public knowledge.

Rich people helping other people get richer?  For some reason, Obama doesn't put those cards on the budget table.  He doesn't seem to be worried about rich people that get lots of forced taxpayer giving.   What do those rich people do with all that money?  I would imagine it's not taxed at all...

Just my humble opinions.
