HUH??

I dont get this statement. Sounds like Jorans mattress wasnt where it should have been.

I thought from the pictures we'd seen that Joran's mattresses were always on the floor. Am I confused again? LOL

It looked like there could have been mattresses on the floor for and drop-ins to crash.  And of course the "peasants" would be expected to sit on the floor while their masters sat on the bed or chair.

Well, I have a question -

where was his judge buddy sleeping when he stayed over?

There is also a bed in the main house.  Look in the next room in the corner.

I never understood why this judge would stay at the Sloot dump.  I still say that the Judge is related to Paulus.  Relatives stay with relatives.

right San, it makes no sense.. the hotels are 2 miles away.. and their nicer than the slootie toots dump.

It makes no sense and the more you look at it, the more BS it becomes.

The only way it make sense is if the judge is pocketing the hotel and meal money that the Judiciary gives him or he is staying at the Gottenbos'... which looks like a freaking mansion.

One mattress is technically off the floor on a cot frame but very low and the other is flat on the floor.

I imagine the cost of staying in a resort hotel is pretty high for judges?  Maybe they stay at Sloots and pocket the difference?

Dunno.

The Sloot's have day bed and cots all over the place.. hardly looks like judge's chambers.

I don't see this place being 'wealth judge stay over material'.

*******,

I see it the other way around, GVC's and Gottenboes are pretty good, especially GVC's but Van Rijns is not nearly so nice.  Very plain, looks prefab or something.

I don't think I have seen much of where Guido lived.  Pic anybody?
