Didnt it cost the state of Florida like a million or so including the court cost etc doesnt she have to pay all that back as well?

I don't know who these jurors were or how they came about to be the "selected ones" but it worries me that this verdict is not a complete surprise in that I think it just proves how "dumbed down" a society we are these days. You see it everywhere in everything, we live in a media world. About everything we do is somehow media related, phone, tv, internet.... we're a society that expects immediate results and if we don't see something with our own eyes we can't believe it to be true. (Taking God out of everything is just one example - JMO). I don't mean to insult anyone here because I am positive that most Monkeys don't fall under the description I just made, I'm just speaking generally. The Monkeys are great and I know we all think alot alike that is why we are all drawn here to SM.

I called Lawson Lamar's office and was on hold forever but told them that they need to check into that alternate juror that stated, "we were not convinced".  Alternates don't deliberate.  She said they had lots of calls in regards to that matter and that she sent an email to appropriate party.  I also, they need to keep an eye on the jurors as I think they had been tampered with.

Good afternoon Monkeys.  I still cannot wrap my mind around the fact that this baby-murderer, liar, thief, ho-bag got off with killing her precious baby.  I am having a hard time believing it. What is this world coming too??  What the hell is wrong with people??
On the bright side, I am praying that the state will go after Cindy for perjury, and I hope they have to call Yuri to the stand, and keep him on there for hours....

All too often some Christians will say that while they might disagree with something or someone, the biblical admonition to "judge not lest ye be judged" prohibits them from handing down a moral verdict on someone else's behavior. Please. That's not biblical. That's not ethical. That's not helpful. That's an out. That's the proverbial washing of one's hands. That's moral cowardice.

"Judge not lest you be judged?" Please. It doesn't apply and it doesn't fly. I am angry. I am grieved. I am morally outraged. As a Christian, I'm supposed to be.

As a believer ... I believe 100% with the words in the article.  My neighbour/friend of over 35 years who just stopped in for a cold drink and quick yak prior to finishing her daily jog is not a believer (yet) and ... she agrees 100%.

I sent a note to Lamar Lawson this morning encouraging him to file charges against her lest he send the message that it is OK to commit perjury in Orlando, because you will not be charged.

I think I may do that also.  Just reading your post.  I called them about the alternate juror.

IF Casey knew the whole d@mn time that Caylee was in those woods, if we believe her side of the story.  She had MONTHS to not only come to police, but she had YEARS to confess so that she didn't have to put her family through her BS defense in a court of law.  HOW DARE SHE?!  So she SHOULD have to pay that money back.

my brother was in jail was found guilty and he was charged 5 dollars a day, he was only in jail 30 days he had to pay court cost, for phone calls made through court
