I just finished eating dinner and this is what I came back to.

Where did you read that? At one time they had a total of 32 on the ground when they searched the house. I agree the forensic team is back in Aruba and some of the KLPD is in Aruba. I thought it was more like 18 Investigators and 14 Forensic Experts the day of the search.

PFF!! I meant I agree most are back in Holland especially the Forensic Experts. My guess is a team of at least 10 from the KLPD is still in Aruba Investigating.

Update: The Dutch investigative team have ordered a second case of suntan lotion and have had to open another tab at C&C.  

Seriously guys, I read the NH team in Aruba is about 8-10 Dutchman and an equal number of Arubans. Of the eight or so dutchman, half were forensics experts brought in for the VDS home search. It is my opinion, those experts, dogs, and gear, are simply too expensive to have sitting around for two weeks. I surmise that part of the team has been back in Holland since the search, waiting to be recalled (as necessary). I think a few people have remained to conduct interviews and develop leads, but forensics left with the samples. IMO.

This is why I don't trust this investigation.  Once you have the ALE involved you can forget about things being a secret.

The "About Us:" section of 24ora is written in English.  I filled out their form email under "Contact Us:" and asked about an English version.  Maybe if they thought there was enough interest they would do that.  They appear to be innovative and focused on the internet market.

Yes you are right..I counted a total of 32 total. I coulda sworn the first 8-10 were backed up by a second group of Investigators of the same amt . Not Including the Forensic experts. All i can find at the moment is amigoes article of at least 20 doing the search.

I would be interested to hear what others have to say about the search and will it lead anywhere...

The fact that they did not seem to search anywhere but the VDS home and maybe the dunes, (that we know about) leads me to believe that there was at least one location they knew about but did not search... that would be the grave Dompig suggested existed.

Interviews are obviously a good thing, but without physical evidence, and two years too late, leaves me with little optimism.

Also, the Holland witness that got the ball rolling may have only known about something at the house and did not see it personally.

I hope I'm wrong about what might be coming.. or should I say, not coming.

So I think what we have now is the ALE team plus about four Dutchman reviewing the case. Not exactly what I expected.

I remember it as 8-10 KLPD who called in 8 more from The NL and they were working with 8-10 Arubans who are NOT the same as the ALE who worked the case originally.

It would make sense to send the forensics team back and the remainder have the corruption case to be investigating as well.  Guess they might be working on that while waiting for results of the samples taken previously.

Maybe the forensic team will return with the results if further forensics are needed.  IF THEY ARE NOT STILL THERE already.

But they are supposed to be investigating both cases.
