There is a statement somewhere that says Paulus has some suspicious calls with Van Der Stratten in the beginning of the case.

Yeah, Rudy said that. On the radio...IIRC.

No mention of VDS/VDS wiretaps in Deepak's bag o police files.   Were these the inappropriate calls that Van der Straten was investigated about?

From the security guard's statement (Slovert Reneska) on 7/08/05:

On your question if I was approached on Monday, May 30, 2005, in the night time hours, by a couple who were also staying in the Holiday Inn Hotel, with a story about two men and a drunk girl were on the sand north of the hotel stumbling or falling, answer I you no. Nobody approached me with this story.

Perhaps this is who the Andres Menses fellow is and his friend Maria Bernadetta Kelly, as identified in the Dr. Phil case papers.  She gave 2 witness statements and he gave 6 or 7, right?  Could they be the couple mentioned above?

Hmmm, could be.  Sure with Jossy or someone could find out for sure.

A couple of thoughts:  

1.   These statements interviews began just prior to Guido's arrest.   I think his arrest was reported May 22, or thereabouts.   Elvis was in the casino the night Joran and Guido were gambling (and leaving to get $).   Perhaps Andres Meneses was also there that evening - overheard Joran and Guido or saw them during one of their two absences from the casino?

2.  Remember the witness identified only as "A.B."?    Could be him?

I think it can see beneath hard dirt and even some rocks.. but concrete?

I was speaking to one of my favorite monkeys on line and she said something that I agreed with about what Art Wood said last night.  She said when Art said that at least 5 people know what happened she thinks he was excluding the suspects.  We automatically thought of the prime suspects.  I don't think that is the case and she is right.

She posted real early this morning before going in for her CT Scan.  I haven't seen her post since.  I don't know how long it should take or what her plans were after.  I'm hoping she checks in and let's us know how it went.

I don't know when they will call me with results.  I'm hoping for Friday but realistically I know, probably Monday......

I am proud of this Jeff Ruby and proud he's in our country, one has to wonder why Aruba would so willingly allow the sporter and paulus as well as Anita and K2 to ramble about unfettered?  

OJ has to deflect the truth, it's his ingrained modus operandi...

I believe Mr. Ruby has a right to refuse service to anyone.  And somebody slap Yale Galanter!  This isn't about race.  It's about getting away with murder and then rubbing people's noses in it.

Easy - when I was growing up my mom's baby sister lived with us for a while, and she was a big fan of Brother Dave. I remember the motorcycle story and how the unfortunate Miss Baby had the motorcycle jacket on backwards.

Agreed, Peaches. OJ was convicted in civil court of the wrongful death of two people. I don't think refusing to serve him has anything to do with his race - it has to do with the fact the the man is a vicious murderer.
