So she wore her hair down for the sentencing...guess she didn't feel the need for sympathy anymore so why bother trying to look like the librarian.  She should have worn her mini dress & boots like she did in her club pictures.  I can't help it - there is no justice for this baby.
She definitely believed she was going home today.  She wanted to look good!

Well, it didn't work!

I bet she thinks she's "bringing sexy back..." BARF

So Baez signed himself and Casey up with the William Morris company.  They are a huge book company.  If you remember the I Love Lucy episode where she decides to write a book, I believe it was the William Morris company she submitted her book to, but go rejected.  Unreal.
He called in to JVM to deny it...
and Wm Morris Agcy said no about KC but never mentioned Bobo

Oooh so this was all a lie? Omg I've been furious for about an hour

Yes Judge Perry, you were not on the bench the same way jurors were....but you made many choices during the trial that were soley your choice.

Yo Judge ,,, this is what Democracy looks like. There are consequences to actions and there better be tranparancy in out legal system.

Guess it comes down to this.

1.) Kill your kid and don't report it for 31 days, you get a William Morris "deal".
2.) Find said parent who kills their kid and doesn't report it for 31 days "not guilty", and you get an all-expenses paid trip to Disney!

Judge Perry is talking out of his hat.

He is worried about unscrupulous people? Really? He should then have been more worried about Casey and the Anthony's if that was the case.

It is the Law in the state of Florida. He should release the names
I would have been the one holdout to hang the jury

Exactly!!

Every juror had a choice and ... each made the choice within 11 hours of deliberation to disregard ALL aspects of the prosection's case against Casey Anthony and ... embrace Baez's defence.

I am off.  Life outside the computer room beckons.

Have a good afternoon Monkeys.

Cheney Mason In the Clear for Flippin' the Bird After Casey Anthony Verdict
 ::snipping2::

The Associated Press had reported a self-described attorney from Coral Gables filing a complaint with the Florida Bar alleging Mason had violated rules regarding "maintaining the integrity of the profession."

The only problem is, the "attorney" was permanently disbarred several years ago, and was banned from submitting filings to the Bar in 2008 by the Florida Supreme Court, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The AP has since withdrawn their story, and issued a retraction.

Casey Anthony juror says the jury wanted to find her guilty, but the evidence 'wasn't there'
By Jamal Thalji and Leonora LaPeter, Times Staff Writers
In Print: Thursday, July 7, 2011

 ::snipping2::

If it was murder, who did it? If she died accidentally, then who was the child's caretaker?

But Juror No. 2 didn't buy that.

"The six that voted guilty said it didn't matter at what point in time she came home and found out her daughter was missing," he said. "She had to report it in some way, shape or form, and that's where the negligence came in."

But some jurors, he said, had decided not to convict Casey Anthony of any charge in the girl's death. By lunch Tuesday, the guilty side started to lose votes.

Juror No. 2 was the last holdout. Deliberations lasted for 11 hours over two days. They filed into court at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday to hand over their verdict.

"We truly don't know what happened," he said. "Somebody knows, but we don't know."

WOW he was the last holdout how I wish he would have just stood his ground. But atleast he tried I guess. But 6 6 for manslaughter why couldn't they hold out who was the bully I wonder?

But 6 6 for manslaughter why couldn't they hold out who was the bully I wonder?

Isn't that a kicker......
WHY?????????

I am 5' even.  I stood up to twenty six angry family members angry at me for reporting my father for molesting kids & cooperating with police.  Shouting screaming playing the "it's family card" for months...........I stood my ground.  You're telling me this piece of schit couldn't stand up to the other jurors?  Coward pure & simple!  I hope nothing serious ever happens to his family because he'd be pushing his kids out of the way to get out of the door!

So proud of you Beth!!  You are an inspiration!!

Shame on this juror!!  He should have stood his ground!!!!!  Damn!!!
i dont care about the "HE TRIED", with all due respect. The fact of the matter is, you dont  "try" to hold on to your true opinions, convictions or ethics. He should have had a spine and stood his ground. i would be much happier with a hung jury than this travesty! At least there was a chance the 2nd time around that we would get at least a few with a little bit of intelligence.

He just tied a case with the most unscrupulous bunch of people most will ever see, so why is he worried now? That has should have been a concern when the skank was being tried.
