The business side of the Casey Anthony case
By Trevor Pettiford , Reporter
Last Updated: Thursday, July 7, 2011

ORLANDO --

If Casey Anthony does walk out of the Orange County jail on Thursday, a huge question immediately arises - will she tell her side of the story?

And if she does, just how much will it be worth?

The media has already been clamoring to get one-on-one exclusive interviews with jurors, lawyers, the Anthony family and practically anyone having anything to do with the trial.

Casey Anthony also will have an opportunity to make money off her story, but just who will be willing to pay for it?

Nor should they.  Did anyone (aside from a book publisher) pay OJ for his story?

Seeing juror #3's interview explained how this happened to me. The idiot said something to the effect that the State didn't PROVE how Caylee died or by what means or exactly where and when. She went on to say that without PROOF, then she couldn't find Caylee guilty.

Well Duh!!!

There were no jury instructions to check your common sense at the door! When a checklist of detailed descriptions are not handed to you, then you have a whole hosts of brain skills to use, provided you have a brain! You start with identifying the obvious, go to logic and deductive reasoning and move on to process of elimination, etc. In short, you REASON IT OUT!!! That's where REASONABLE DOUBT comes from.......... you REASON!!

This jury did not do their job. They were JURORS, not trash recepticles with an eject button for everything that was not an 8x10 glossy!! There's a difference between "determining" and "regurgitating"! They would accept nothing less than undisputed proof and heard clearly from Baez that the State had to PROVE their case while the defense held no such burden at all.

Had they simply and methodically gone through the reasoning process they would have arrived at truth and that's the real goal. They were searching for proof while truth was right in front of them.

They should be ashamed to have interviews or be seen in public. They should have to wear bags over their heads. Holding the bag off their shoulders would at least be some use for the brains they can;t figure out how to use.

The term, "Travesty of Justice" is almost cliche......... I now truely understand what that means. It means Caylee's jury.

I hope these 12 jurors had lobotomies just prior coming to Orlando, because it's their only excuse for not having brains. They should hang their heads in shame for the rest of their miserable lives! Judge Perry will never say it, but IMO he is probably disgusted with these CRETINS!

Casey Anthony To Learn Her Fate At Sentencing
Posted: 5:54 am EDT July 7, 2011Updated: 7:51 am EDT July 7, 2011

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Should Casey Anthony be released Thursday at her sentencing for lying to investigators, she could be hard-pressed to piece together some semblance of a normal life following her acquittal on charges that she killed her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.

Thursday marks the 997 day Casey has spent in jail, but she could walk out as a free woman. Casey will be in court at 9 a.m. to be sentenced for lying to investigators.

Baez: I'm Afraid For Casey Anthony

Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, told ABC News he would argue Thursday that Anthony should be sentenced to time served -- she's been behind bars for nearly three years -- and released. She could get a year in prison for each of the four misdemeanor counts of lying to law enforcement officials of which she was convicted Tuesday.

"If you look at the time that she's done, it's quite significant," said Baez, who nonetheless acknowledged concern about his client's safety should she be freed, given the high emotions surrounding the case.

"I am afraid for her," he told ABC's Barbara Walters.

She would have to spend 3.4 yrs to spend the 85% of her time sentence if she gets the max

So JUROR #3 says that she was sickened and other cried after the verdict.

WTF!!!

You people provided "NO JUSTICE" and you cried? You were sick to your stomach? Not half as sick as I am of you and the other 11 ship of fools. This woman's interview made zero sense. How can you punish one if you

"NOT GUILTY DOES NOT MEAN INNOCENT". A newsflash to Juror 3 and the rest of the fools, YES IT DOES!!! You just allowed a person to make $300K to kill their child and a millionaire to finding her not guilty. I think this jury either had no concept of what their charge was to do in this case, or worse, a stealth juror that was influencing people.

The juror made a comment that you could not kill someone, not knowing. WTF, you were provided with lesser charges that would not have provided the death penalty. UNREAL.

Here is my question to all these jurors who blew it ... will they spend more time on TV, radio, writing books and getting booking agents than the pathetic 10 hours they spent deliberating.

This jury totally blew it as the believed the conspiratorial theories of George and not the caregiver who was last seen and responsible for Caylee.

Hey, mornin' monkeys! (or, mourning monkeys.)  I've got to say, I just feel bereft.  I am so sad about the verdict.  But you know what?  Casey's life is going to be worse than ever...I truly believe that.  Cindy is going to pay too.  I don't want vigilante justice for Caylee, Casey will do something heinous and be punished.  I have to believe in a greater good.  My favorite thing right now is when the porn company rescinded their offer to her to star in a film...No one wants to see her, clothed or unclothed.  Hee hee.
At any rate, I'll be watching this morning.  I just hope Baez is disbarred for his behavior, or at the very least, sanctioned.  Thanks for all the updates...
