Orange County deputies sit outside the Anthony home in Orlando during the Casey Anthony sentencing hearing.

That pic just pisses me off!  Although I do not live in Florida - our second house (daughters and grandson live there) was robbed over Memorial weekend.  This guy took everything- even luggage and underwear!! - daughter walked in on it (thank God she was not hurt) and got license plate - police were just seconds from catching him still at the house.  We are still waiting for a detective to put out a warrant for his arrest.  Daughter has been staying with us because she is too scared to go home - and yet the Anthony's and KC get all this protection?????

you think casey is paying for this protection to? bet they bill her for it.

The good thing about her being on probation she will actually have to get a REAL job. LOL

The IRS will have a garnishment in place for the $68,000 plus penalties and interest and if the State is able to collect their costs of prosecution and confinement, that will also be taken out of each and every dime she earns.  I hope she enjoys the soured fruits of labor.

She will get 10 days per month for good time gain time

Thanks. I am not understanding the math. She has been jailed since what...Oct. 2008? ALL APX.
Oct. 2008 to July 2011 =  2 yrs. and 9 months (33 months/apx. 992 days) + apx. 330 days for 10 days per month good time  gain = 1322

365 days/year = 1460 days
                      -1322 days
= 138 days to remain in jail  = apx 4.6 months

why are they saying she could be out in late July or August?

I know I was just doing the math to and got the same thing. I think orange county can give her extra days for good behavior the county jails can give whatever they want I think..

My take is to add up total # of days sentenced on all convictions and deduct total # of days served minus "gain time" = days left to serve.

And that right there makes me want to mail Sindy a card with a photo of Caylee's skull and the duct tape.  She shouldn't care about that monster.  The monster doesn't care about her.

Because they have to add the time she had to serve on the check charges to the time she has to serve.  They are saying July or August but I think what everyone missed is that is NEXT YEAR.

"yes sir, Mr Baez is a great attorney", "yes maam the check is in the mail" she's good at lying - Baez needs someone like that at his law firm Wink

The fact is, they may as well have let her walk right out today.  It doesn't change the fact that she got away with murdering her child, stealing, and lying about all of it.

And what does this send to all the future ppl that will break the law???
You can get away with it.....
It tells me if I want to murder someone go to Pinellas county and make sure the body is just a skeleton and you will get away with it.

Casey Anthony sentence: Four years in jail with credit for time served
July 7th, 2011
09:45 AM ET

Video at link.
Updated at 9:30 a.m.] Judge Belvin Perry has sentenced Casey Anthony to one year in jail for each of the four counts of lying to police, which will run consecutively.

The judge and defense attorney Jose Baez said it will take about an hour to figure out what exact time Anthony has served and how to apply that to the sentence. The jail where she was being housed would also have to consider any good behavior time.

It appears that for now Casey Anthony is headed back to jail - we'll just have to wait for the specific calculations from the court to find out for how long. Analysts appear to be saying that based on Perry's ruling - and calculations that she served about 1,000 days in court - it is likely Anthony could be free by the end of the summer.

I've not seen anything of Mark Nejames since the verdict was in.  I hope that means he's helping someone get ready to sue KC, Bozo, and the rest of the DT.

InSessions said they are working on getting George and Cindy for an interview later today...my goodness the circus never ends..I don't are what they have to say..liars the pack of them.

And I bet Casey goes to Lee's..no reporters seem to be there and they seem to have bought his crying game act on the stand.  Dr Drew and Jeff Ashton didn't either.
