Well, that did strike me as just strange as the male members of the family do not attend the baby shower here.  I suppose they could but usually they just show up to haul all the gifts home.

I was thinking we could hope she could get in trouble in jail between now and her release date, but she is in protective custody so nobod hurts the baby killer, so I doubt that. 

Anybody willing to get sent to her jail so that you can make her get in trouble and stay in jail longer?

Alternate juror needs to sit down and STFU! 

IMO.   

Casey might be able to 'get help' for her problems, if she's ever held accountable for her actions.  Jury setting her free just enables her behavior to continue continue continue.  All that Casey will have learned, IMO, is that her "living a life of dishonesty" was/is the way to riches and fame. 

The only HELP she wanted was to get free

No one was allowed to express any emotion or approval or disapprovel in the courtroom EXCEPT for the Defense Team that was allowed to assign a person full time, each and every day, to console, pet, empathize with and generally display all manner of support and comfort to the Defendant.

Remember Casey was directly in front of the jury so they couldn't miss this routine.

Day after day, this was allowed.  I don't think I have ever seen this in court before, the incessennt displays of support.  Maybe some of you who have followed more cases than I have have witnessed this.

I think it was just wrong to allow only this one display and to allow it in limitless amounts before the jury dauly.

The good thing about her being on probation she will actually have to get a REAL job. LOL

People in Orlando will be keeping track of her.

Bobo will hire her. She will become either a paralegal or an attorney. This is the only clique she will fit in with. Someone said maybe she'll room with Fryer. How long before Fryer finds out she helped free a killer/thief? Casey can play the part for a while, but her true character lurks just beneath the surface and will resurface in time. We just need to have patience.

It is not possible that her defense team doesn't know that she is guilty. They know she did it and it was their quest to see she got away with murder. I will never believe they don't know.

Bozo answered the judge that she had no money so they are evidently walking away from her. The judge said if she appeals they will appoint a public defender. I would assume Bozo has some deals working for himself. We can only hope it is with a Spanish station if it is a tv deal. LOL

This infuriates me.  He already paid for the stte of florida to free a baby killer and now is going to pay for the state of florida to appeal a measly few more maybe mont long sentence and pay a fine?  Then, she will get out and make millions.

Thanks. I am not understanding the math. She has been jailed since what...Oct. 2008? ALL APX.
Oct. 2008 to July 2011 =  2 yrs. and 9 months (33 months/apx. 992 days) + apx. 330 days for 10 days per month good time  gain = 1322

365 days/year = 1460 days
                      -1322 days
                      = 138 days to remain in jail  = apx 4.6 months

why are they saying she could be out in late July or August?

I know I was just doing the math to and got the same thing. I think orange county can give her extra days for good behavior the county jails can give whatever they want I think..

I'm a little behind and this thread is moving fast, so I apologize in advance if someone's come up with a "fitting" calculation for KC's sentence...

4yr sentence (365 x 4 = 1460 days)      1460 days
33mos x 30days served =990 days)      -990 days
                                                        = 570 days served to date
33mos x 5 days/mo for good behavior     164 days
                                                        = 405 days
1 year time served-365 days                  365 days
                                                             40 days remaining of sentence!!!!

Ugh, I figured it out and had a hard time explaining it, don't mean to confuse anyone. I think I need more coffee, or something stronger

He is the chief judge for crikes sake, he could have found some loopholes.
