I really think JP should have excused the Cruise juror. Also the juror who could not judge. Maybe one or 2 others. It seems like there was one that the Pros asked 2-3 times to have excused, and JP said no.

Casey Anthony sentencing: Court recalculates, now says she could leave jail July 17

Just days ago Casey Anthony pondered the possibility of a death sentence. This morning she awakens to the reality that in days she will leave jail and attempt to rejoin society.

Orange-Osceola Chief Judge Belvin Perry sentenced Casey Anthony on Thursday on four counts of lying to law enforcement, giving her four years in jail but also credit for time already served dating back to 2008.

Considering her time incarcerated and other factors, such as good behavior, court officials said Anthony likely will be released from the Orange County Jail July 17.

The jurors were banned from internet use and their TV’s were taken from them.  Did have a “wet bar”?   

Did they have hangovers?  I am trying to pinpoint, why they did not take notes or take their notes with them. IMO

So there was a wet bar and no LOOSE LIPS?  Right....

Dumb, beyond a reasonable doubt. That is the subject of this evening's "Talking Points" memo.



As I said Tuesday night, it would be unfair to disparage the jury in the case of Casey Anthony in the acquittal without first hearing from them. But they don't want to talk. And who could blame them?

Acquitting this horrible woman has caused a national outrage. So far, only one alternate juror has explained the acquittal.

RUSSELL HUEKLER, ALTERNATE CASEY ANTHONY TRIAL JUROR: I don't think the prosecution was able to show how she died, what was the motive -- what was the motivation.

MATT LAUER, "TODAY" SHOW HOST: In your opinion, did Casey Anthony get away with murder?

HUEKLER: No, she did not get away with murder.

Again, it's hard to me to criticize that man, I don't know him. But I do know that there was so much evidence in the case, so many bizarre things done by Casey Anthony that to let her walk away from the death of her two-year-old is astounding. It is astounding.

Now the O.J. Simpson jury did the same thing. There, race was involved as most jury members were biased in favor of Simpson, who is now serving up to 33 years in a Nevada prison for committing another crime.

The frustrating thought about the Caylee Anthony murder is that justice is not being done. Hopefully the little girl is in heaven and her killer will most likely go to hell, but here on earth our powerful justice system has failed. Somebody got away with murder.

Sitting here thinking about juror #3 she sure is running her mouth alot to anyone who will have her, MOO is she is digging a deeper and deeper hole for all this to be investigated

Using an unproved theory to back up her decision to acquit.  She used speculation to let Casey Anthony off. Not a shred of evidence that there was an accident.

I still want to know what Lee got the 'use immunity' for and if he violated it in any way with his testimony.  If so, I hope they charge him.
