What was behind Mason’s anger after Anthony’s acquittal? I gained insights from Geraldo Rivera of Fox News Channel. Rivera, a friend of defense attorney Jose Baez, complained about how Baez had been treated by local attorneys on television.

I finally got a good night's sleep and just woke up. Read the first page
that Paradigm dropped Bozo. Excellent!

lol  Cindy really thinks that she can smooth things over with KC.  What doesn't she get that she made KC mad enough to cut the very thing out of her life that connected her to Cindy?  Killing Caylee was KC's way of removing all ties/dependence to Cindy.  She's done with her.  Especially since she is now 'free' and potentially wealthy.  Cindy will soon realize that all those lies didn't mean anything to KC.  KC expected her to lie.

I guess she was able to come out of hiding to go to the jail to see her KC looking so beautiful.  I give it a week.  Watch, you will see.  George will either go along with it, or move out.

Geraldo Rivera of Fox News has other career advice for Casey.

"If I were her representative, I'd say, 'Sit down, shut up and go to church,' " Rivera said. "If I were her, I'd be thinking about a monastery, regardless of how that baby died. Now is the time for sober reflection."

If that is the case she won't make it out of jail by Sunday 7/17/11..they have as many contacts in jail as out of jail.

Frankly I am over Casey and over the jury.  I have shunned them both in mind and in my heart.  I won't buy or watch anything pertaining to them.   There are no excuses that either Casey or the jury can give to make this right..

The point is to put things in place so this doesn't happen again ..no more cracks to fall through..although some children will still be victims of their parents horrific child abuse..hopefully with harsher laws and sentencing these people will not walk the Earth as free people.

The point of the trial was to hold Casey accountable for her actions and to make sure the rest of society was safe from her future actions.  Didn't happen..the jury system failed.

However..the biggest justice that could be given to little Caylee is the new laws which seem to be emerging in all the states and hopefully the federal government too.  That may not have happened if Casey had been charged guilty..people would have felt reassurance..vindication.

So maybe God and Karma working togather realized the greatest good would be served in protecting the innocent children of future perps....and making it easier for the prosecution to get a conviction the next time.  We can never say this won't happen again..but with the right laws in place and the right punishments in place we can make sure those prosecuted are found guilty.

That being said..all the laws in the world can not protect a child at risk..you need judges ready to act and jurys ready to make the hard calls..not just here..but also in cases where there has already been child abuse and those judges are very reticient about placing the child outside the maternal care...it happens everyday. 

I guess you just can't legislate goodness, kindness and respect for life...but we can damn well try.  That's the legacy I would like to see and am seeing for Caylee.

You can write a Letter to the Editor for free ... it may or may not get published, but it surely would be read by the editorial department. 

To spend money, you would have to put a display ad in the paper---there are various sized display ads---display ads begin with an inch sized copy and go all the way to a full page copy [  now--that's expensive!!! ].   I don't know which paper is generally most read by the folks in Pinellas County ... maybe someone here knows?

Something I can't get out of my head...

Baez attempted to keep out a picture of Casey dancing very close with another female. He said it's bc he was worried it would portray her as a lesbian.

Well, could he have been using reverse psychology on the Prosecution?

Follow me for a sec... I have no idea, don't even care, but I wonder if any jurors were gay/lesbian & that was one ticket to create reasonable doubt. Personally, I believe we're all equal & should have equal rights...but not everybody feels that way. If Baez acted like he didn't want that pic shown to the jury bc "it made Casey appear lesbian", then using reverse psychology, the Prosecution could have used it by informing Casey was partying, partaking in questionable activities, etc. Maybe Baez really wanted that pic in evidence so whomever could be gay on the jury would see that, relate to it, maybe they felt discreminated against once. If Baez could play into it so the Prosecution would talk negative, the juror that could resonate with it would feel sorry for Casey. Then Baez could come up and say everybody grieves in different ways, yada yada.

It only takes one person to hang. Reasonable doubt is like a disease if you're a juror that feels sympathetic toward a defendant that you can relate to.

It just bugs me about Baez's choice of words... He was worried it would portray Casey as a lesbian. I mean, who really cares? I could care less.

If there was a lesbian on that jury, and they heard Baez say that or catch on by inferences, then they would feel sympathy for Casey. If they were ever discreminated on in their past, they would argue their side to their death. You can't Change how you were born, it's part of your identity.

I know there are rules set in place that protects jurors rights, but...

Ok, what if it can be proven there was jury misconduct and/or tampering? We've found out that a mistrial couldn't be declared based on jury indescretions bc Casey was found Not Guilty. It could be declared a mistrial if she were found Guilty.

However...

What about if there's another death or serious crime and Casey could be linked to it unequivocally? What about if she's found guilty if something else should happen in the future?

Just say, for instance, she kills somebody and it's proven that she's guilty. Could these jurors be held responsible for allowing her acquittal? For not taking all of the evidence into consideration? for conversing amongst themselves? For whatever... If somebody else dies, can they be held jointly responsible for not taking their jobs seriously? If somebody else dies, it's their fault for putting her back on the street.

I'm having a hard time seeing how they came to a NG verdict.

Titch I keep asking myself the same questions.  How do 12 people render not guilty in 10 hours - I don't get it.  I can't help but feel that someone tampered with this jury and I would love to know what would happen if that were true.  Maybe some other smart monkey will be able to answer our questions.

did anyone hear the scott peterson juror on NG last night? He even said he was shocked and could not imagine how these jurors came to this verdict in 10 hrs. He said theres no way that they looked at the evidence in that short of time. They decided scott petersons case without motive or cause of death being shown and very little evidence, they just used common sense!!!!! OMG and mason really say that the media will make up stories?! what about that ridiculous story that the defense presented in their opening that the jury obviously bought hook line and sinker!!! I cant believe this nutjob juror #3 admitted that she had her mind made up before she even went into deliberations!!!

I am struggling to understand the jurors as well...

10 hours of deliberation  - but I have been thinking - 10 hours  - less 2 lunch hours and at the minimum 3 "special breaks"  that makes 7 hours.  This is considering they didn 't even read the instructions, and went directly to the "not guilty" check here, At the MOST they "deliberated" 7 hours. 

Of course we know they didn't do anything that would even  resemble deliberations, but 10 hours....NO.   Just pisses me off even more and I didn't think that was possible.
