The miserable postscript for a Casey Anthony juror

Her name remains a secret. She’s known simply as juror number 12. And while she has a certificate from Florida’s 9th Circuit, embossed with calligraphy thanking her for her duty as a member of the Casey Anthony jury, her life since being released from that duty has been one of cat and mouse.

A red-haired woman in her 60s who moved to Florida from Michigan, she told the court she worked at a Publix Grocery when she was questioned as a potential juror.

Now, she’s in hiding.

Juror number 12 left Florida. Her husband, fighting back tears, tells NBC News he’s not sure when she’ll return to her home in Florida.

We have watched a real travesty of Justice.........I have watched everything on this from the beginning. I have read every document. There was much more evidence presented than in any case I have watched including the Scott Peterson case.  I am very familiar with forensics and the prosecution's experts were beyond reproach, but the defense's experts were a joke. This was a runaway jury and I am not convinced yet there was not some jury tampering and/or coercion. For them to vote 12-2 originally to convict then less than 5 hours later vote not guilty without looking at any of the evidence my hinky meter is jumping fast. How did ABC get Jennifer Ford's name to offer her and her whole family Disney tickets before the verdict? How are these media outlets getting in touch with these jurors now if NONE of their names have been released? I don't believe for a minute ANY of them are getting death threats. It is all a lie for more publicity.

The good news is God is not mocked and there will be a price to pay by all of them. The same day lightening hit the tree where little Caylee's remains were, so all of them better be prepared for their consequences. Karma is hell. We will watch not only this juror but all the jurors who released her lives go to heck in a hand basket fast. They think they will make money but they will be disgraced for the rest of their lives for letting a murder go free.

"When I had to sign off on the verdicts, the sheet that was given to me, there was a feeling of disgust that came across me, knowing that my signature and hers were going to be there, on the same sheet," said the jury forman.

The jury foreman in the Casey Anthony trial -- who asked not to be identified -- says many of the jurors believe Casey Anthony killed her daughter Caylee.

But because the prosecution never showed how it happened, they were -- by the letter of the law -- forced to rule for acquittal on all murder charges.


 

The jury foreman also tells Van Susteren Casey wasn't the only Anthony family member that raised an eyebrow of suspicion during the trial.

"Did anyone think George was believable, out of the 12 of you, George was believable or credible or were others likewise suspicious of him," asked Greta Van Susteren.

"There was a suspicion, there was a suspicion of him that was a part of our conversation that we had of what I'd call the round robin of topics we had when we were doing deliberation," said the jury foreman.

There have been several threats -- some of them very disturbing -- against the jury and Casey Anthony. The judge in the case is holding off on releasing the jurors' names. It's speculated Casey Anthony -- who is scheduled to be released on Sunday -- will be secretly whisked away for her own safety.

The interview in its entirety will air Monday night on FOX News Channel's "On the Record."

Cindy wanted George to go into the car business with his dad. His dad had a nice used car lot that did pretty well. The only

thing was George couldn't get along with his dad. Within the first year they got into a fight at the lot and George put his

father through a plate glass window. George was asked to leave. George then started his own used car lot as he bought up a

small one a few miles from his dad's. He second mortgaged his and Cindy's home and when the lot went under they lost their

home in Niles, Ohio. They then moved to Florida and assumed a mortgage at their present location. This is 100 percent true.
I know them personally. Believe me they are really stupid.

His father's was Antony's Auto Sales in downtown Niles. George's was on Youngstown-Warren road in Niles near McKinley Plaza.

It only lasted a year at best. I believe he named it George Anthony's car lot. Cindy thought having a car dealership would

make them a lot of money. She had a nursing degree at that time but didn't use it until they lost their home in Niles. She

had worked for Dr. Sterle in Howland as his lead nurse. She got a good job in Orlando working for a doctors clinic that had the Orlando Magic as clients.

I really would like to know how on the 1st vote of aggravated manslaughter they broke at 6-6, then to figure out what to do they never asked for a read back, never asked any questions, nuthing! How does one get from 50-50 guilty to all folding and letting Casey walk in 10 hours?

Did they at any point think that they should have provided some form of justice? They believed a defence theory of drowning over actual evidence?

Thanks, Kermit.  I did not mean to distract or get off the topic:)  I was wondering about Caylees hospital bills and how it effected the family, and if they filed for Bankruptcy because of it.  Poor Caylee, Lordie, born in this family was not in her best interest.

If Caylee's father or new grandmother would have helped out with Caylee, I would say she may still be alive.  IMO

If the jurors thought she was guilty, were sick at their stomachs, etc. where did they get that idea unless from the case presented by the Prosecution?

I really believe they only listened to Opening and Closing statements and actually believed Baez that Prosecution had to prove things like motive and an actual cause of death.

Imagine they in a case where no remains are ever recovered!    They would be great for mob killings where people are just never seen again.

Because the cause of death was not known did not mean Caylee was not dead!

It's scary how stupid some people are and are actually walking around lose on the public.

Caylee never had any hospital bills. According to Cindy she never went to the doctor. There was never any evidence she even had a pediatrician like most children. They were evidently neglectful in more ways than one.

I have a question and I am sorry because I'm sure this has most likely been discussed....did we ever get to the bottom of the whole "Casey may be an escort" thing?  Remember the photos of a woman that looked like Casey from a certain unsavory website where she looked like she was, ahem, eating a banana?  This was a long time ago but I know you Monks have long memories.....I for some reason have had this in my mind the past few days....just have a feeling that it is relevant at this moment....intuiton or something.....

St. Martin’s Press said it had acquired a book about Ms. Anthony, below, the Florida mother who was found not guilty last week of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. “Inside the Mind of Casey Anthony,” by the forensic psychiatrist and television pundit Keith Ablow, will be released this year. “Dr. Ablow delivers a cogent, comprehensible way of understanding exactly how Casey Anthony’s psyche may have developed and how her psychological development and the dynamics within her family ended the life of Caylee Anthony,” a spokesman for St. Martin’s, part of Macmillan, said in a statement.
