bleachedblack ... I am look for the quote.  However ... IIRC the reason given was that Deepak's vehicle had to be used as there was not another vehicle on the Island like it.  Apparently ... it had modification such as ... large mufflers, etc.

I don't doubt that Deepaks car was involved. But  I would imagine there is likely to have been at least one other car involved in that nights crime. Since 2 of the Sloots cars were initially confiscated, I would imagine that one of them was involved.. .....just a surmise.

Where the heck is LaLa's?... She can Shango this. I know there is a sentence or two that deals with this.

I think Simian made mention about swapped out cars and jacked up phones and computers -- hey, that was after the FBI said it, so Simian and Shango might have been parroting what we already were hearing.

My question has always been why the girlieman Guido sold his car so quickly.  Maybe Joran wanted a new ride, huh?  No, I doubt that.  I think Guido would have liked Satish better than Joran.  The only reason they said Joran was his girlfriend was to take the heat off Big Foot (apologies to Anna) and put it on someone else.  They made that goofball up for TV with Chris Cuomo and he looked like Ronald McDonald with that big fat red mouth and pootypatooty mascara and big-a**ed feet.  What a clown. All he needed was strikes and a ball and chain.
