One of my kids called me to come get him twice because he got into arguments with his brother and his brother put him out of the car at service stations!      

I was not a happy camper but at least he called me and was sober.

Always "Let me speak to Mom" if they are in trouble or think they have done something wrong.  Teen boys still tend to fear their father I think.  That's why they need one so badly.  And the mom needs that back up even in cases of divorce or whatever.  Some kind of a positive male role model is just about essential.  Can be a grandfather even. They need limits and boundaries and structure.

Turning lose a teenager before they are old enough to develop any judgment is just a dreadful thing to do.  In most ways, that is when they need parenting most, guidance and a more mature brain to keep them from derailing.

Joran was totally without that and completely off the tracks!

Klaas, if you happen to have it can you post the link of Paulus running to his car.  If you don't have it it's OK.  I tried looking for it on another site but didn't see it.

I want to see if there are any other angles of Paulus driving that car that resemble the one driving the van.

Actually the guy in the Earthquake Machine looks like the guy Art Wood confirmed was Lorenzo .. the guy in handcuffs.

Well we are going to disagree on this one because I think it's Paulus and that picture of Lorenzo he does not have cuffs on.

I'll go one better, San, and suggest that Lorenzo has nothing to do with this and is not even related to the Sloots in any way at all.  I believe that was a vicious rumor from the known rumor monger because she has something like a personal grudge against his mother or him for whatever reason.

Total red herring to throw us off.  I think he is a geeky mama's boy as well as he is never seen in any of the bar photos and took his mommy with him to see about getting his four wheeler repaired, etc.  

That illegitimate son thingy is right up JR's ally!  Remember her book about Natalee being pregnant and the lies she was planning to write until exposed!  I think this is one of them, the Lorenzo myth.

He is too old and was born in The NL I believe.  I doubt his mother would follow vdSloot to Aruba if this were his illegitimate child!  That is a JR soap opera fabrication, in my opinion only.  I think his rave parties were very tame compared to what we have been led to believe as that house is small and nothing fancy at all compared to so many in Aruba.

This is just my opinion and I do realize many subscribe to the Lorenzo theory and I am fine with that but I never have and do not calculate him into anything related to Natalee's disappearance.  I think he is yet another joke played on us.

Wasn't it said that Lorenzo was hiding under the table crying.  To me it sounds like the Guido wetting his pants story.  A lot of water coming from these peoples bodies.

Anna, you could be right about Lorenzo.  I just don't know what to think about him because there is nothing substantial that we can connect him to.  We are going by the words of people who were trying to derail this investigation.  These could be all smoke screens and we just have to see though it all.

So I am not closing the door on Lorenzo just yet.  But right now I do agree that he could be a red herring.

Anna ... I agree.  Allowing teenagers loose on a long leash is taking the chance that their immature decisions could negatively affect not only their lives in the long term but ... the lives of others.  Parenting implies that if the name of the game was being popular with their teenage kids ... they would probably loose hands down.  However ... in the long run ... the benefits make up for it.

No, the original photo is so small.  I took the original and enlarged, brightened and highlighted in photoshop.  I do not think the original we got was photoshopped.
