Why hasn't Interpol intervened?  Are they just waiting and giving the Dutch the chance to it? And if they all can be extadited to the US, why has that not been done?

OT...I just wondered what ever happened to "cat".  Haven't seen a post from him.

I think before Interpol or anybody else can get involved, the Dutch have to have a chance to solve the case.

Where is cat?  I haven't seen him for a couple weeks?

Hi, None.

CSS ran the Spring game again the other day.  I watched whole thing again and didn't spot him.  It looked like a fun day.  If I had known ahead of time, I might have cruised over for the game.  DH loves college football.
Of course, all that red and white made me homesick....

Could have been after the Sloots.  Were going to leave Natalee by Racquet Club, but were seen, so headed toward the beach (? Arashi?).

It would appear following the Natalee Holloway reenactment many tips came in to the show including this one.

She did, however, learn something new by reading the show’s transcripts — an unidentified woman called the hotline after the show to report seeing four sweaty boys leaving the beach with a shovel the night Natalee disappeared.

With regards to the case, I know now that in the past few days some members of the Dutch did visit the Kalpoe residence and tried to talk to the two brothers, but were rejected.

There is a rest of the story!

how completely ridiculous that the main suspects in a murder case just "reject" to talk to the invetigators.  WTF !!!!!!

Reach through the door, grab that scrawny little bastard by throat and haul him downtown.

Complete BS !!!  This investigation is a farce.

We tried to question them but they refused so we left.  What a joke.  The high and mighty Dutch investigators are nothing but a bunch of clowns.

Punked out by a scrawny little Kalpoe rapist.

We have been hearing about new tips and new leads for 2 friggen years now.  We hear the Dutch are on the island due to a "new lead" from a "new witness"  Well if there are new tips and new leads how come they cannot question the main suspects?

What a joke, they are just twisting the knife in Beth's back some more.

This thing is all bullshit and they are just pulling on Beth's heart strings some more.

robots, my DH enjoyed hearing of your latest activities.  And then the SHOES!

It's hard to be patient, blah.  I know.  I'm no good at patient.

It seems ridiculous that when you're still the main suspects in a disappearance you can refuse to cooperate.  I don't care where they got that idea.  It's dumb.  And it's not working right.

I'm with IndyDan.  I'm thinking channel locks.
Very inspiring and not even a power tool.

if the arrests are comming, why didnt they arrest them when they went to their house?  WTF are they waiting for?  They have supposedly been working this case since October.  Thats got to be a load too because this case would take anyone with half a brain 2 weeks to solve.

While my heart and frustration level agrees with Blah -- my brain agrees with Robots. I just cannot fathom that the Dutch would not stake their own reputations on this fiasco.

The BRILLIANT Dutch Investigators big idea was to go over to the Kalpoes, knock on the door, and if they refuse to talk then just leave and forget about it?  This makes no sense at all.  They had to KNOW that Kalpoes would not want to talk to them but they had no back up plan?

They had no plan to arrest them or no way to put some heat on them?

The Kalpoes just say no, and so they leave?

What an absolute joke.

Dutch Investigator " Hey, I have an idea, we can go over to the Kalpoes and see if they will answer a few questions"

Othe Dutch Investigator " Wow, BRILLIANT!!  Lets GO !!"

Dutch Investigator knocks on Kalpoe door.

Scrawny little bastard flips them off and tells them to get the hell out of here.

Dutch Investigators shrug their shoulders say "well, we tried, now what?" and go back to sitting at Carlos and Charlies with their thumb up their ass.

My Prediction: They go over to Van Der Sloot dump next and Paulus kicks their ass.
