I'm so sorry to interrupt O/T, but I just had throat surgery and cannot talk.  I am at home right now and have been looking for an online chat with a Dr. to no avail.  Do we have a nurse or Dr. here, I could ask a question about something bothering me since my surgery yesterday?  I know I am grasping at straws here, but if you know anybody who I could even talk to on AIM or email?

Dihannah  Are you alone? If not, you could write down what your problem is and have someone call an emergency room at they hosp and they will often give advise or ask you to come in if the situation warrants.
Also..could leave a message to your own doctor's answering service and they are usually pretty good at getting right back to you. Especially since you had recent surgery.

I am currently at home alone.  If I can find help here, great, if not, I'll wait til hubby or daughter get back.  Today is her prom and I hate to upset the day for everybody.  I'm sure it's not emergency, but having alot of muscle pain all over my body.  AND I only had throat surgery.  Was fine all day yesterday after it.  It hit me this morning.

I live in West Palm Beach and I guess that makes me older than most and based on the universally accepted idea that Everybody Younger Than You Is a Total Moron (just ask any senior citizen). A correlation of this theory is that young children's minds are not shaped by their parents, their education, or the environment they grow up in, but by the toys they play with. So what kinda of toys did Joran, Kalpoe's and the other pimps play with.. So if you give them a gun, they'll grow up into adults that shoot each other. I know many poor youth who grew up in the time of Transformers and received serious bodily injuries trying to fold themselves into a car.  Now they made a full length movie and yes I will go and see it..  

But maybe I'm not the greatest judge of what's good and bad for children these days. I never really understood the rules that went into action/adventure cartoons. These rules, in case you didn't notice are:

No matter what happens, no matter how dangerous the situation may seem, a human being will never ever be seriously injured or killed. This means... No matter how many bullets you shoot at somebody, you will never hit them. The only thing guns are good for is shooting overhead lights, chandeliers, etc. that can fall on other people. If you shoot a plane and it explodes in a massive fireball, the pilot will always parachute out at the last second. (Also, if you shoot a tank, all passengers inside will have time to run to a safe distance while the explosion is building.) The only way to win a swordfight is to knock your opponents weapon out of his hand. It's okay to destroy as many robots as you'd like. That's why bad guys build massive armies of evil robots (opps sorry robot, I know your a good robot, BTGirl told me).. If you ask me, the most dangerous influence on children is the movie Peter Pan. I mean, think about it. The story revolves around these kids who decide to jump out of a 20th story building because this strange guy in green tights tells them they can fly. If I were a parent, I wouldn't be showing this to my kids until they had a very firm grasp on the concept of gravity.  This is how I felt until I found a whole island of misfits and I'm not too sure its because they watched too many Saturday-morning cartoons, more like porn at an early age..  I mean they find their behavior ok but we just shake our head..

The day after surgery can be a very strange day, indeed.
Seamonkey had a problem and the doc had her come right back in. It turned out to be nothing serious, but did put everyone's mind at ease.

Thanks Artcolley.  I'm sure it's nothing, but I really in a lot of pain for a minor surgery.  I've had so many more major one's and never had this.  So it is strange.  We'll see what BB thinks...

Didn't they give you some medicine for your throat (NEO/POLY/HC 1% OTIC SOLUTION 10ML ) = Roxicet , MIRACLE MOUTHWASH   or MAGIC MOUTH WASH , HYDROCODONE/APAP 7.5MG/750MG TABS  or IBUPROFEN 600MG TABLETS ..  I would of thought that they would of made sure you had all or some of the above for your throat..  They do work..
