By the way: I haven’t seen Jurine in ANY Dutch TV-show promoting his book since the day the house-search started. I think that’s good news as well! (At least I didn’t have to look at his face on my TVscreen the last 2 weeks!)

I read at FOB that his book is now 30 on the Netherlands book list. Wonder if this is true.

Hey Monkeys! Had to work this morning and then have been spending time with daughter #2 and #3 so I am just hearing about the police at the Kalpoes.  I really hope this is because of some information they have or because of something they found at Joran's house!  As far as the Kalpoes being "angry" about them being there - if you have nothing to hide then let them search look whatever.  The same can be said for the van der sloots.  Why worry if you are innocent.  Let them look and clear me!!!!  Happy Mother's Day to all the Monkey mothers here!!

The next day, tuesday May 31 2005 in the afternoon I was with Joran at the raquetclub. Joran looked worried. He asked me if I remembered what he told me about the girl the day before, I said yes. The girl appeared to be missing. The FBI was at his home at night, but he wasn't there. His father phoned as to where he was, Joran said in the Radisson Casino. He told that after the phone call he was called by Deepak and that Deepak picked him up a few minutes later. They drove to Jorans house. The FBI and family of the girl were at his home. After that Joran told me that Deepak, Satish and he didn't drop of the missing girl at the Holiday Inn Hotel, but that the four of them had driven to the beach north of the Mariott Hotel. The girl fell multiple times on the way to the beach. Joran told me that at some point the girl didn't recover anymore and that they had left her on the beach. He also told that he left his sport shoes on the beach. After Joran told me this I asked him why he had left her behind. He answered me that he didn't knew what to do at that moment. Joran told me that after that he was dropped off at home by Deepak and Satish. On friday evening June 3 I met Joran at his home. I was just rereading some stuff from Joran's book, and came across this sentence again.

"I once said that I would be angry if Natalee is still alive, but actually I will be very happy for her. The police, the American press and her family, who accused me falsely for two years, and determined me for rapist and murderer will have something to explain to me in that case."

No, he wouldn't be glad for her, her family, or Aruba-he would be happy he was going to get an apology.  No emotion, just what he will gain.  What a piece of work he is.  He reminds me so much of Scott Peterson.  Like everyone falls for his manipulations.
