In my thank you to Mr. Lamar, I urged him to pursue perjury charges against Cindy Anthony. I emphasizied her web of lies were carefully molded by the defense to confuse the jury to the point that her testimony could not be believed. Even during her testimony she cleverly spoke about Zanny as though she was a real person. If anyone cares to do the same here's his address

Orlando (CNN) -- The detectives who built the murder case against Casey Anthony said Tuesday they stand behind their evidence but urge the public to respect the jury's verdict of acquittal.

"I wish there was something I could say that would bring closure to everyone, but there isn't," Orange County Sheriff's Office Cpl. Yuri Melich told reporters. "I just know that, unfortunately, people are going to have to come to their own sense of closure within themselves and understand that as far as this case is concerned, as far as the judicial system is concerned, there's nothing else we can do."

 Documents released Friday show investigators launched a criminal tampering investigation against Buchanan to see if she was alone in making false claims or if there was someone else who was a part of the scheme.  Documents released by the state from Buchanan show contact with both Anthony defense attorney Jose Baez and Casey Anthony’s mother, Cindy Anthony.

Buchanan wrote to Baez in an e-mail that she believed someone other than Casey Anthony was responsible for Caylee’s death.
Cindy Anthony’s attorney said in a statement that his client did not contact Buchanan.”Oh absolutely not, Laura Buchanan was hounding my clients. They did not seek her out,” said Mark Lippman, George and Cindy Anthony’s attorney.No one has been charged with tampering. A source tells WESH 2 News the investigation is ongoing.

Baez did not return a call seeking comment Monday on the parallel tampering investigation.

It’s the first and apparently the last time that investigators with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office will answer questions about the Casey Anthony case.

An hour long press conference was held Tuesday at the sheriff’s office headquarters.

Even though Casey was found not guilty, there’s still work going on related to the case.

There's a witness tampering investigation ongoing involving a former Texas EquuSearch volunteer, possible perjury charges for Cindy Anthony, as well as threats made against the Anthony family and the jury.

In my opinion I would like to know what connections the Anthony's, the Defense team have with someone who is powerful enough to talk to the jury before coming to Orlando and what not.  After reading here about the interviews with jurors  they all weren't dumb.  The only explanation that  I can wrap my brain around is that someone paid them off.  Also, you read that CA may face perjury charges then right after that it is stated that they won't.  HMMM  my hinky meter is going off
