Same here .. don't know what to think... read that about her clothing and also on the MIRROR site that she claimed ot have taken the Cuddle Cat to work with her??   And this is why the corpse smell on the clothing and the toy.
  This whole case is sad....  and getting more and more confusing . 

Where did you see that about her taking Cuddle Cat to work? That's just strange. I'm also not sure why the clothes wouldn't have been washed, either. But maybe the corpse scent stays on there through multiple rounds of laundry.

 I read it on the mirror site earlier. Alot of those folks there are ready to hang the Mcanns.

Os dois cães ingleses especialistas em detectarem odor de cadáver sinalizaram o cheiro de morte perto da igreja. O mesmo foi marcado pelo radiostesista sul-africano contratado pelos pais em finais de Julho, mas o templo não chegou a ser alvo de qualquer busca.

The 2 english dogs trained to detect cadaver scent marked the smell of death near the church. The same was marked by the south-african hired by the Mc's in July, but the temple was not targeted for any searches.

The Public Prosecutor will order the confiscation of the car which the McCanns used while in the Algarve and which has become central to the investigation in the Madeleine case because of evidence detected inside it.

New tests will be carried out on the car. Further, each and every person who rented that car will once more be investigated.

Yesterday ten boxes containing the whole process was delivered by the PJ to the Public Prosecutor and from there its on its way to a criminal Judge who will decide if there are grounds for trial. This indicates that the Public Prosecutor thinks there is sufficient information in the report of the PJ to bring accusations against one or both of the arguidos (formal suspects).

The Judge will decide if the case will go to trial by the end of next week. He could also decide to dismiss the process.

The PJ thinks that Kate McCann might be recalled to Portugal. If there is a refusal then diplomatic means would be used to extradite, forcing the British Police to make an arrest.

IDK, imagine accidentally killing your child and then disposing of the body in your own country, hometown where you know places and where you are going - this is vacation, where did they access a shovel and when did they dig this grave near the church when no one would see nor notice the ground freshly dug up, if this be the case - AND they supposedly only rented this vehicle 25 days after her disappearance, If she was dead for 25 days, imagine how she appeared and smelled, I understand they are physicians, But this is your daughter, Could they really have dealt with that?  Substantial quantities of hair, would mean the body wasn't thoroughly covered/encased, so they could see her -

With Kate and Gerry McCann back home in the UK, the Portuguese authorities are weighing up what action to take next in relation to them and Robert Murat - the other formal suspect in the investigation into the disappearance of the McCanns' four-year-old daughter Madeleine.

Detectives in Portimao have been preparing the case files to hand them over to Jose Cunha de Magalhaes e Meneses, the prosecutor overseeing their work, for him to review progress and redirect the investigation if necessary.

"The public prosecutor wants to see the case files," said Chief Inspector Olegario de Sousa, the police spokesman for the investigation.

"Normally we keep him up to date verbally, but when he wants to look at them, we hand them over."

Police said they expected to hand over the files on Tuesday. Once they have done so, the prosecutor will draw together the evidence they contain and decide the next step.

He could conclude there is enough evidence to draw up a charge sheet against one or more of the arguidos, or formal suspects, in the case - Robert Murat and Kate and Gerry McCann - thus bringing the investigation to a close, or that one or more of them should have that status removed, for lack of evidence.


So Murat is not totally out of the picture, but if the McCanns are charged he will be?  What happened regarding the child pornography?  Was this false?  And Sergei, convicted sex offender? or was that false?  I'm not trying to drag innocent people (if they are) back into this, just asking, I know they did not have enough evidence, but not having enough evidence and being innocent, two different things....I'm curious if Murat was in the possession of child pornography and also still curious about the journalist who had a bad feeling about him.  Maybe he was just an oddball, but they were concerned enough to alert the police and IF the child porn with Murat is true and Sergei does have a conviction that would make them strange bedfellows indeed - I would dig deeper here - Murat's mother said he was with her that evening, anyone else concur?  I think people living in that country would have an easier time of disposing of a body.  If not these two, someone else living there.

There are persistant rumors on another board that Kate was given a key to the Church - do not know if this has been confirmed.  Lots of theories include the church, church basement, church grounds, priest, etc.

That would imply that a priest was in on all this. I think that's where I draw the line, honestly. Say what you will about priests (and I won't say anything about them because I like them), but I don't think too many are willing to be accessory to illegally disposing of a body/covering up an accidental death. (Not to mention the time constraints, if all this happened before dinner on May 3).

Somehow I can imagine Gerry and a friend burying her near the church more easily than I can a secret funeral at a church with a priest. What do I know, though? This case gets more bizarre...

Personally I can't believe it. I assume Maddy was baptized. Wouldn't all this be against Catholicism?

Of course murder would be, I find it very hard to believe a priest would become an accomlice or accessory after the fact for a tourist family.  If not murder, then what would be the point of all this clandestine activity?  And the search fund?  Nothing here makes any sense.
