As I recall we have had this conversation before. It originated here at Scared Monkeys. From what you told me, I believe you felt it was a fake and deleted it. I had come across it later because I asked about it, having remembered a specific verse, because that was my favorite :

......anyway the other poster, recalled the July 27th verses i referenced and had saved them.

Actually, I have never outright dismissed it at all. I have read it many times.  The only thing that bothers me is that it reads a little differently than the other Shango verses.  Doesn't mean he didn't write them.

Date and time sequentially do fit. But considering I did not save them as they were posted ie the very date, this is a surmise. I don't think they were discounted immediately here, because they were discussed as I recall. As I stated (above post) I clearly recall the magic transport discussion.

The original Shango wrote in the third person.  He never used the pronoun "you" --at least from what I recall.

I admit I am not very good with Shango...but this is not Shango speak. To me at least.

I just checked the front page of SM again for Shango posts.  I believe Tom has got all the old front page posts fixed again now.  Anyway, I cannot find any Shango posts after June 2005 and I cannot find the post that BB is referencing.  That said, I know we had a problem with a formatting issue on the front page posts that Tom worked on.  It's possible he didn't get all the old posts back where they belong.
