Caylee Anthony’s Possible Grandmother Hires O.J. Lawyer, Eyes Wrongful Death Suit

Casey Anthony may not be off the hook yet – she still could face a possible wrongful death lawsuit being masterminded by the man who pinned a multi-million dollar judgment against O.J. Simpson.

After a jury acquitted Anthony of charges that she killed 2-year-old daughter Caylee, a famed celebrity lawyer has signed on to represent Donna MacLean, a Massachusetts woman who claims to be the tiny tot's lost grandmother.

"I have been instructed by my lawyer John Q. Kelly not to speak with the press anymore," MacLean, 47, of Rutland, Mass., told Star. "At this time, I'm listening to my legal advice."

It was Kelly who convinced a jury to find O.J. liable for the murders of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman and won $33.5 million in punitive damages from the former football star turned actor.

OK...this could get interesting!!!

Could it be that John Q. Kelly's advise came a little too late?  Could it be Donna MacLean has already jeopardized her chances at come out the victor in a civil suit against Casey Anthony?

Caylee Anthony's 'grandmother' reacts to verdict
Jul 5, 2011 9:46pm

Casey Anthony of Florida has been found not guilty of killing her two-year-old daughter.

There is a Massachusetts connection to this story. Donna MacLean of Rutland claims to be Caylee Anthony's grandmother.

"I was really happy for her. I just started crying for her. I felt for her, I really did," says MacLean.

Donna MacLean may be a thousands of miles away from the courtroom drama in Orlando, but sitting in her Rutland, Massachusetts home, she is emotionally torn.

"I always felt she was innocent, I did," says MacLean.

Maclean says she is almost certain her now-deceased son, Michael Duggan, is Caylee Anthony's father. As Caylee's grandmother she says she's devastated she'll never meet the little girl, but stands by Casey Anthony.

"I feel bad for her, I don't even think she's had time to grieve," says MacLean.

Caylee Anthony's 'grandmother' reacts to verdict

"I just hope the Anthony's can feel my pain, you know, feel my pain. You fought for a daughter and she's alive. I don't have a son. Tell me about Caylee, please. That's all I want to know, tell me about Caylee," says..(last paragraph)

Ms. Maclean should talk to her Priest about her pain.

Casey Anthony to Basically Live in Witness Protection Program
 ::snipping2::
Once Anthony reaches the still-secret location where she will live (known to a handful of people - but not my source) she is expected to live under a pseudonym, "almost as if she was living in a witness protection-like program," to avoid being harassed.

Awww, what's the matter?  Don't they believe in "their girl?"  They proclaimed all along that she was "innocent," and that she "did not kill her kid."

Surely things will be different, now that we totally understand (-not-) why Baez wouldn't let his poor innocent client talk to her parents, wouldn't let her talk to LE, stated that it was not in her best interest to tell what she knows, and let her sit in jail with the death penalty hanging over her head for three years.  Sure, it looked pretty damning at the time, but hey, that was all before we learned from the Pinellas County Twelve that she was NOT GUILTY.  "The truth stops, er... starts here!"  Right, "advisors?"

She's been acquitted!  Don't these "advisors" trust the public to BELIEVE Miss Anthony's story now that she's free to tell it?  Let's line up an exclusive interview or book or whatever, so there can be a giant, collective "A-HA" moment, and we will all realize how wrong we were about her.  No one will hate her any more!  We will all feel sorry for the beautiful, abused, misunderstood, grieving mother who was railroaded by the bad police, bad FBI, bad experts, bad cadaver dogs, bad media, and bad, bad prosecutors.  Once she is freed and has a chance to speak, everyone will be very supportive and protective of her, just like her defense team and advisors have been for so long.

So what is all this malarkey about disguises and plastic surgery and fake names and going into hiding?  C'mon guys, this should be your client's moment to step into the limelight and shine -- time to start living the Bella Vita --  RIGHT???

Hey Trimmy! Thanks for all your posts, I don't have much time anymore, but you always provide the good stuff.

(Oh, today at work I got a badge!!! Woo hoo! I asked the sheriff's dept. for one cos when I'm tracking down some deadbeat dad in another county's jail, they kinda like to know who I am and who I work for. Sadly, they (sheriff's dept) declined to issue me a star with "Don't give this chick no chit, just sign the papers and pay for yer kid!" on it! LOL!) Just an ID card...but it's OFFICIAL!!!

Just days from Anthony's release, Fryer says Casey deserves a chance to grow and get educated.

"I believe in Casey and I hope we're a country that believes in redemption," Fryer said.

Note to Ms. FRYER.....KISS MY ARSE!!  there was no chance for Caylee to grow and get educated!!! or graduated, get married, have children of her own.....
"...I hope we're a country that believes in redemption,"   Well, redemption is not free mam. It takes certain actions on the part of the sinner before she can be redeemed.
BBM

Yes, I agree... and not only that, but why does Ms. Fryer believe her client needs to be "redeemed" in the first place?  Doesn't Ms. Fryer believe in KC's INNOCENCE?

Bounty Hunter To Sue Casey Anthony, Jose Baez
Leonard Padilla Says He Was Deceived; Wants To Recover Costs

POSTED: Wednesday, July 13, 2011
UPDATED: 8:18 pm EDT July 13, 2011

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The bounty hunter who temporarily bonded Casey Anthony out of jail in 2008 announced plans on Wednesday to file a lawsuit against her and her lead criminal defense attorney, Jose Baez.

Leonard Padilla said he was deceived by Anthony and Baez back in 2008 when he led his team of bounty hunters and security personnel from California to Florida to help find Anthony's daughter, Caylee, alive.

Padilla said Baez's opening statements in Anthony's murder trial, where he declared Caylee was never missing and had drowned in the family pool, proves both Anthony and Baez lied to Padilla in order to get his needed financial and logistical assistance to get Anthony out on bond.

Casey Attorney: Trial Was 'Terrifying'
Anthony Defense Attorney Explains Why She Worked On Case

ORLANDO, Fla. -- In a matter of weeks, attorney Lisabeth Fryer went from class valedictorian and intern for Judge O.H. Eaton to arguing motions for Casey Anthony's defense in front of a worldwide audience. Fryer said it was a "baptism by fire."
"It was very terrifying. The stakes were high and I wanted to make sure I didn't let anyone down. I really appreciated Judge Perry being generous with me when I went up to argue," Fryer told WESH 2 News in an exclusive interview.

"...I hope we're a country that believes in redemption,"   Well, redemption is not free mam. It takes certain actions on the part of the sinner before she can be redeemed.

Over two thousand years ago there was a line drawn in the sand in regards to the issue of redemption.  Redemption is not freely afforded ... not even by God.

1 John 1:9
IF we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness

I have no difficulty affording forgiveness to another who has wronged me … caused me grieve IF there is genuine repentence.  However ... without that repentance … I just have to let it go ... give the burden to my Heavenly Father along with all the other areas of my life for which I have no control and ... move on.  In time the sting does lessen.

Old George & Sin Sin will be too busy with depositions in lawsuits for the rest of their stinking lives.

I think it's going to really eat in to their "lobbying for Caylee's Law" and book writing time. awwwwwwww

So sad, being grieving grandparents and all.
