Here's another comment from The Daily Beast. Is it safe to assume the cousin being referred to is Nathan Plesea? I remember researching him in the beginning. He is Casey's cousin. I thought he was adopted? I'll have to go back over tge old stuff I saved online. Anybody remember him being mentioned?

ok, so she knew the baby's daddy's parents when she was 6 or 7 years old???? that says COUSINS to me!! Certainly if it was a one-night-stand, she would not know the parents......

Aunt Pam Plesea has not seen Casey, since she was eight years old.  Does Aunt Pam have any children, if so, how old? 
 

Pam is Nathan's mom, isn't she? Omg let me go look it up. Brb.

Casey Anthony's Aunt Speaks, Exclusive

I was initially contacted like everyone else in the family for photographs of Casey and the family. But I wanted nothing to do with the story or these people anymore. Rick has disowned our son, and I have been talking in secret to Rick and Cindy’s mom Shirley (Plesea) all of these years. And she told me what happened the night Caylee went missing on June 15, 2008. It’s not what Cindy and George have sworn under oath to in court either,� said Pam Plesea.

None of this surprised me,� said Anthony’s ex-sister-in-law Pam Plesea. “When my son was 4 years old and we threw him a birthday party, Casey was just days or weeks old. Cindy showed up at my home and put the infant Casey up in my face and said, 'What a shame you will never know how it feels to have your own child.' I was mortified. My son was adopted, but he is my child and she then said, 'Oh, I meant that you never will have a girl, and it’s the best thing for a mother. She’s my life now.' Well, 25 years later, I see she is willing to possibly perjure herself for her daughter.

Mom Plesea [Shirley Plesea] has been talking to me ever since this whole thing happened. She told me that on June 15 after she, Cindy and Caylee went to visit her husband at the nursing home, which is very close to where Shirley lives. She then showed Cindy that Casey had forged a $354 check on her husband’s nursing home account."

"She later told me Cindy found out Casey had done this. She claimed she used the money to buy a new work phone for Universal Studios. Anyhow, Shirley told Cindy that she was going to call the police and she said that Cindy told her, if she did, she’d never speak to her again. So Shirley feels guilty to this day that she did not call the police. She had warned Cindy, if something was not done to stop Casey, that she’d end up doing something bad. Now Shirley lives with the grief that if she had only called the police that Caylee might still be alive today,� said Pam.

Retiring teacher leaves legacy in ‘Escapades’

Mineral Ridge High School art teacher Pam Plesea, left, is retiring this year after 39 years, leaving behind a legacy in her extracurricular directorship of the popular variety show “Escapades.” Here she stands on stage at the high school with “Escapades’” costume designer Cheryl George.

“It’s hard to replace a legend,” Dohar said, adding, “She’s had a very meaningful part of every kid’s life in Mineral Ridge. I’m very proud of Pam.”

Plesea is a 1971 graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor of science in art education. She also studied music. Her son, Nate, lives in Howland, and she has a grandson, Zachary. She is church organist at Otterbein United Methodist Church, Cortland.

wish Judge Perry hd been as tough on Baez..ah well...too late now.

So far a big disappointment for sure.  However, in retrospect, JP did say he would do sanctions after the trial.  It's possible we'll hear something else. 

If JP doesn't, this sets a bad precedent in the Fl courts.

Remember, Mason said he wants her to get some sort of counseling or something to help reintergrate her into society.

My other 1/2 suggested sewing her up downstairs and giving her a lobotomy before releasing her.  Best idea I have heard yet.  Mandatory sterilization.

I've never personally been involved with IRS trouble but I know someone who has and they do not go away and they will freeze anything tied to your Social Security number. 

I found this interesting of the computation of tax and penalties.  I don't know what the federal interest rate is but I know it isn't much but they add 3% and compound daily until paid.

Has anymore jurors spoken out on their decisions or anymore of the alternates ?

I could be wrong but ... somehow I do not think is going to happen.

Could it be that the jury foreman was the agreed designated media spokesperson to speak on behalf of jury members who have been compensated for their silence?

Could it be that that the media interviews afforded by one jury member and one  alternate was a self serving form of defiance? Those interviews must have reaped them both big bucks.

Could it be that the jury foreman was the designated media spokesperson whose task  was to justify the defence's opening statement and closing arguments while negating the prosecution's case against Casey Anthony?
