I got nailed pretty good today by the terriers breaking up a fight and Klaas is just teasing me about them a bit.  There are good and bad dogs in all breeds I do believe but mostly good and bad owners.  So since I got bit, I must be one of those bad owners, LOL!

 

Very true, Anna Spent many years as an obedience instructor and met all types of pooches.  Would pat them and have the owners say "Oh, he has never let anyone ever touch him before"
Only dog that has ever bitten me was a cocker spaniel when I was a child.

It's the first time I've seen one in ages,  but I am dead serious.  I was beautiful,  I was excited to see where it was.  When I saw Aruba,  I honestly do NOT believe it was taped there.  Nothing in it shows anything from any pics. I've ever seen from there.

Can't speak about Scotties, except to say that when I was a kid our neighbor had 2.  In a fenced yard but anytime I was out playing basketball they barked at me constantly.  Every once is awhile the ball would get into their backyard and I was told by the owners to let them get the ball because the Scotties were a little on the 'unpredictable' side.

But I'll go out on a limb to say yes, Dobes have a better temperment than most any dog.  JMO

Except for maybe Boston Terriers.  

I'll admit, I'm a sucker the Boston Terriers.

Maybe I should ask Robots for his magic on lifting my invisibility...  

I read your posts but didn't see the ad and so didn't have anything to add to it.

But will keep out an eye for it.  Prolly some more of the "basic island file tape" they keep on hand.  Most likely Hawaii or somewhere entirely different.

False advertising has never bothered Aruba, One HAPPY Island except for all those who have killed themselves in gristly manner in recent months.

I was curious about your thoughts on the commercial I saw on aruba and we are talking about dogs.  Which is ok, cause I love dogs, I have 5!   But it seems to be so often anymore that I'm invisible.  I wub you guys too, but it hurts my feelings sometimes....

Well, I think that might be a new commercial a lot of us haven't seen yet. It's not the one that says, "come dance in Aruba" is it? If it's that one, I always mute it for two reasons. One, it looks more like some place like Bermuda than Aruba, and two, I can't understand the rest of the words to the song, and that irritates me.

BTW Anna,  that happened to me once when I was a teen.  A big dog was tearing up a puppy and I tried grabbing it to save it.  The pubbpy  kept biting me because it was JUST biting to save itself, not realizing what I was doing. Puppy teeth tore me up!  The owner of the big dog came out and threw it across the yard to stop it.  I later found out the puppy died.  I was sooooo devastated!  I was a young girl and so soft hearted with animals (still am).  All I got for it was a good chewing out for stepping in to two dogs not knowing if either one had rabies?  I'd do it again in a heart beat!

I saw someone post earlier today about The Mighty T, famous singer from Aruban at least in their own minds.  He won an award for a song a few years back about Aruba and the thing mentions Viagra in the song, I kid you not!

Anyone else ever think the place is entirely to revved up about sex?  I mean to an almost pathological obsession with it?  Watch those vids of people on the Tattoo party boat for some really strange behavior.

When I went on a cruise to several hot, nasty islands many years ago, I noticed the same thing. The islands looked nowhere near as good as the photos advertising them. Actually, the only place I've ever seen that looked better than the advertising photos is England.

Dont' feel that way Dihannah - it get's busy and sometimes we get on certain topics and respond only to that post.  Then if you don't read back you miss some posts.
