I'm gonna help y'all get this to page 50, and then I'm gonna go buy ferns and impatiens to replace all those weeds I pulled up yesterday.  Very Happy

Wish you lived nearby, I rooted impatience and begonias last fall and have too many for the space allocated since I don't have a lot of shade any longer.  We planted 20 trees when we moved here and then I decided to grow roses and we took out 15.  Storms got 1 of them, so we only have 4 left in the immediate garden, but a ton of them behind the garden that is our "wild property."

One has to wonder what the Dutch team has been doing with themselves all this week, since it was last weekend at least that they hit the Kalpoes.  Again, NO SENSE OF URGENCY WHATSOEVER.   More of the same....<sigh>.

They are having lunch with Julia Renfro and shooting the breeze.

Yep.  Good for the Monkeys that hope springs eternal.  But, show me the shackles.

I wish you lived near me too, LOL. Most of the trees we have are wild fruit trees, so we want to leave them for the critters. That means we have mostly shade to deal with here.

BT, Knockouts are great roses for shrubs and ever-blooming.  I have about 5 in a garden which my DH claims to be his own with some blue hydrangeas.

That rose is from Charleston, SC, born and bred there back in the 18th or 19th century.  It requires absolutely no care and grows and blooms all the time.  It can reach monstrous proportions if not kept pruned.

Are we about ready to close the gate on this thread?

Tyler, I'm green with envy! I've always wanted an elaborate garden, with oodles of pretty flowers and plants, walkways, benches. fountains, statues, and even a maze. Since I will never have that kind of money, I am currently creating a very tiny garden with faux plants and the like. Having a blast doing it!

The prettiest rose in my garden, ever.

Tylergal - whoever this is, she should be in commercials or baby modeling or something, she's a doll.
