Angie
Daughter likes Tess' dress tonight.  Something about that color.  She's trying to decide if that would make a good bridesmaid's dress. LOL

It is strange...I log on and it's all about food and men...go figure.  Laughing

Awwww, BT. It's all about a group of monkeys that like each other, mostly. Isn't it cool? I love it!

When the slightest thing breaks in Nat's case, we all get whiplash at the pivot!  Wink

It is great, isn't it? When we have a stretch of time with no news, we can still get together and visit with one another.

As soon as Klaas drops a news flash into the forum we will just drop our aubergines and parma whatsits and be right onto it.

BTW do you think Klaas has had to dash to the shops to buy some more aubergines and grits?

oh yes I am a southern girl... true story...

Red tells me one day that he never eats okra in any form unless it's fried... I laughed at him soooooooo hard because I ALWAYS put it in soup... and it's never slimy but I don't know why it isn't.... but in gumbo or soup it never has been for me... anyway.... it was just too funny because he always eats okra in soup when I make it!!

Dihannah that is just so terrible.  Glad he is not badly injured.

Hi to all the monkeys joining our food discussion day.  Laughing  Laughing

Artcolley - how far NORTH did you live to be 35 below?

On the Canadian Border...the wind chills were 70 below sometimes. You couldn't go outside and breathe without your breath freezing. We wore scarves and things over our mouths. Flesh freezes in 20 minutes up there when its like that. I do NOT miss it, ROFLMAO!

Art, over-time OT.  Our new pet will probably be coming to live with us next week.  His name is Zoey (he) not to be mistaken with Zoey (she) and our dog is Derry and I all her Derry Dew, so I guess this will be Zoey Zoo. Laughing

Don't you think it's a meat market, SB? My experience with men is that if you fawn over them or throw yourself at them you're asking for "short term". I'M the prize. ( 'Course I'm single, too! )  Laughing

ARUBA: It's all about Natalee...we won't give up!

« Reply #647 on: May 21, 2007, 11:01:38 PM »

I'm not a Bachelor watcher but just returned from my son's athletic banquet at school.  I was so mad the entire time because right before I left "Wheel of Fortune" gave away an "exotic" trip to Aruba with lodging at the Marriott and of course promoted the casino and beautiful beaches.  I'd already stopped watching Regis and Kelly the few times I'm here to see it and now I'm gonna have to boycott the Wheel also.  Geez, they must be selling those trips for peanuts because it seems like everything I turn on is giving one away.  It just turns my stomach!

I stand with the girl, Natalee Holloway.

"I can look back over the past 10 years and there were no steps wasted, and there are no regrets,'' she said. "I did all I knew to do and I think that gives me greater peace now." "I've lived every parent's worst nightmare and I'm the parent that nobody wants to be," she said.

Dihannah,

I'm glad your hubby didn't suffer anything worse than whiplash!

Thanks Artcolley and BT.  Messed up his work truck and the other man's Dodge Ram.  We went to ER and x-rays didn't show anything broken, but he's pretty sore.  Dr. said he's going to be really hurting tomorrow and the next couple days.  He is sooo mad that he can't work!  So, we'll see.  Hopefully that's all that comes out of it.

YEs, he sure will be sore. It';s a good thing he's taking off work though because rest is the best thing for him right now. Men never want to admit it, though!!! I'm sure he'll feel better in a day or so!

Hi Texasmom,  I agree.  I just saw one the other day and it upset me, because it was so fake and looked like it was taped elsewhere!
